Most the carpark was blocked off with cones and rope. Only a small section immediately in front of the hotel was available that had many cars parked there. Not the most ideal. Feb 2022.
Excellent and cheapest parking for the causeway. Just walk the extra 200m. They don’t encourage overnight parking, but they don’t lock the gate either.
As it has been said this is the cheapest option to walk the cliffs and see the Giant's Causeway. You can take the longer walk from down the railway track and turn right before the beach or cut through the coach park. The free access is not advertised. Park here after the ticket office has closed in the evening and pay when it opens the following morning. Quiet night, no other vans.
Bon compromis par rapport à ce qui nous est proposé dans le coin. Nous sommes arrivés vers 19h30, personne donc nous n’avons rien payé sur le moment on aurait pu aller voir la chaussée des géants à ce moment mais météo défavorable pour nous. Nous avons donc payé 8£ le matin vers 9h30. Car nous avons décidé de visiter la chaussée de Géants le matin. Possibilité du coup d’accéder à la chaussée des Géants sans payer les 11,5£ par adulte comme afficher à l’entrée (300m environ à pied). Nous avons contourné le visitor center (chemin gazon entre le parking et le visitor center) et pu profiter pleinement du magnifique décors de la chaussée. Pour le parking, terrain plat sans service, et très tranquille (nous avons passé la nuit seul).
Parking (calme, plat, en dur, 6£ par véhicule situé juste à proximité du centre avec possibilité de rester la nuit. Permet d'effectuer la visite libre du site sans payer l'entrée au centre (12.95£ par personne) obligatoire avec le parking du site
