Tagsüber sehr viel los - Startpunkt für viele frühe Wanderer und sogar Jogger. Keine Hunde erlaubt auf den Wanderwegen. Nachts sehr ruhig. In der Cafébude ist alles superlecker - empfehlenswert!

Wonderful spot for a quiet night. Marked bays are only small so we had to go sideways, but there was plenty of room at night, then moved before it became an issue next day. It is a bit surprising there aren't overnight restrictions. There's a donations box to show appreciation.

Really nice place. Calm and breathtaking view. The espresso in the morning was just yummy. There is a trail up the mountain that is an easy walk, that leads up into a beautiful valley.

Attention les chiens sont interdits partout ici ! "Dogs will be shot" Sur les autres parkings alentour également ! N'y perdez pas votre temps si vous bougez toujours avec vos loulous C'est bien dommage

Large space, flat parking, free parking overnight, coffee hut open recently, no barriers! Very small and dark road to get there so be conscious, no toilets. Unlike other spots in the area, there is 4G reception with Vodafone

Super tranquille, pas un bruit, au départ de la randonnée du point culminant d'Irlande. Des moutons autour de nous et une vue magnifique

Tranquilo y en medio de la naturaleza. Algunas plazas rectas el resto inclinadas y unas vistas desde allí espectaculares. Caminatas desde allí aunque ves preparado para viento y lluvia. Si te apetece sal por la noche a ver las estrellas ya que es un sitio alto y con poca contaminación y es espectacular. Dormimos sólo dos autos y el camino es estrecho y con salientes para maniobrar si viene algún coche de cara.

Garé avec notre fourgon de 6,5 m sans problème, on y a passé 2 nuits super calme !!! Légèrement en pente mais ça le fait. Et départ pour une super rando ! Le week-end le parking ce rempli bien.

La première photo ne correspond pas au parking, il doit s’agir du deuxième à 1 km. Celui ci a beaucoup de place aussi mais avec notre fourgon de 6 mètres, nous dépassions de 1 mètre. Pas de service hormis en saison un food truck et une table avec banc. Parfait pour aller au sommet par l’échelle du diable. Parking gratuit

Free car park. was told to ensure to occupy only one spot during the day cause they can have pb with camper staying on several spot while trekking. The coffee is quite good.

Great spot with view of the mountains - perfect place to start your hike. Silent at night but for the sheep. Warning that this place is marked incorrectly as it has no facilities. You need to go to the other car park for the shop and shower! Great view in the morning, though.

I think some the photo's and some of the comments refer to different car parks. The coordinates are for Lisleibane car park and has two parking tiers, an upper and a lower. There was no charge on this car park when we visited in Oct '21. There are no facilities. We stayed overnight in the lower car park after a late descent from the mountains. Great for a quiet stopover after a day's walking.

Good spot to start the hike to Carrountoohill. However, the nights can get extremely windy (we hardly slept as our van was constantly being shaken). There is a lower parking level which offers more shelter. No facilities, but nice view on the valley.

Parking au départ de la randonnée pour le carrauntoohill, ou les lacs.un peu venté qyand même mais comme il n'y a personne le soir on peut se caler dans un recoin du 1er niveau.

Great car park (2 Euro per day charge), totally fine to stay overnight (confirmed by owners). Toilets and showers available in the bunkhouse - showers are 1 Euro per minute. Maps, hot drinks and food available in the tea rooms during the day, super friendly staff.

Deux nuits passées, une pour se préparer à l'ascension du Carrauntoohil , et l'autre pour s'en remettre...

Large 2 tiered car park. Lower tier discreet but no views. Upper tier more conspicuous but extensive views. Very peaceful. Only noise sheep bleating! If mountain ascention is not your thing shorter walk available as described on info board

Peu de voitures sur le parking légèrement en pente. Juste pour le repas pour nous, mais possibilité d'y passer la nuit.

Excellent spot, seul sur le parking en plein mois d'août. Nous avons parlé avec des locos, très gentil et nous renseigne sur les randonnées à faire.
