Great stopping point. Arrived late, left early after a very peaceful night (late December). Boy racers all stopped near the viewpoint doing their best to ruin tyres, parked near the furthest gate near another motorhome in tranquility. Aircraft make sure you don’t lie in late! Will definitely stop here again.
lovely place, but it sounded like a few male dog walkers (without dogs) turned up around midnight... some ventured into the trees and proceeded to call for they're missing dogs (I think one was called Jesus and the other called oh-gad- yeah) the others were just (I assume) playing uno as they gathered around one car with of them repeatedly saying "take 2" was the give away... not recommended
Stayed almost 2 nights. Clearly a spot for people gathering in the evening. Monday it sounded like people flinging their cars around the parking lot, but stopped around 10pm so I wasn’t too bothered. Tuesday planned to stay again but lots of motorcycle revving which progressed into blaring music… didn’t fancy waiting for it to stop so moved on to a spot 5 mins away which is v quiet so far.
Very quiet ( if you park right at the rear ) by the footpath gate. Beautiful scenery, cafe and toilets. I parked my large, high top van here today ( Sept 3rd 2022 ) whilst between jobs for around 8 hours. Slept for 4 hours. Quite a lot of dog walkers and kids with parents. Free to park, loads of spaces. This could be my goto parking place whenever I'm in this particular area.
lovely views and nice spot to have dinner. but lots of youths appeared late Saturday night, screeching around on motor bikes/cars pulling skids in the car park. so very very loud. shame to ruin such a nice spot. maybe better mid week? toilets opened 9am Sunday morning

J y ai passé la nuit du 13 Juillet et aucun signalement disant qu il faut payer et que le parking est interdit pour la nuit. Endroit très calme avec de superbes ballades et une belle vue! Situé en haut d une colline l air un peu plus frais est appréciable!
