A visit this evening and signs prohibiting overnight parking. Shame would have been a great place to park

Public car park with no restrictions as of 2020. Space for a few vehicles not really suitable for large motor homes. Ideal for an overnight if visiting the Cerne Abbas Giant.
Öffentlicher Parkplatz ohne Einschränkungen ab 2020. Platz für wenige Fahrzeuge, für große Wohnmobile nicht wirklich geeignet. Ideal für eine Übernachtung beim Besuch des Cerne Abbas Giant.

Schöner Stellplatz.mit Ausblick auf den Riesen von Cerne Abbas. Nachts ruhig.
kerryshana31/05/2022We stayed at the viewing spot for one night, alongside one other camper-van. There are no signs discouraging overnight stay. Lots of people coming and going to view the giant in the evening, but all quiet after dark. Great landscape to wake up to! There are also two bins and some benches.

Solo female. As the carpark was closed I stayed all night in the viewing area. I was the only camper here and it was a very quiet stay. A good view of Cerne Abbas Giant this morning. Bins available.
johncharles08/09/2021I was harassed by locals after midnight and told to f,off. They played loud music in their cars until I left for a peaceful night in Dorchester
