Wirklich ein schöner ruhiger Platz, direkt am Canal, mit kleiner Brücke und Weg zum Joggen auf der anderen Flussseite. Anfahrt etwas holprig über Feldweg mit Löchern, aber auch ohne Allrad gut machbar.

Fantastic spot very quite the road leading to the spot very bumpy

Very quiet stop over, rural location. Road is very bumpy, when I read other reviews didn’t appreciate how bumpy it was, it’s a 2mph job if you’re feeling brave.

It's a lovely spot! We parked here with 2 other vans. It's really quiet, only a few cyclist and people walking along the canal. You can cycle down the river to the next town. Very safe and beautiful.

A beautiful and peaceful park up. Yea, the access road is bumpy, but provided you take it slow, and don’t have a low clearance beneath, you can easily avoid the deepest potholes, you’ll have no problem. We managed just fine in our 7.3m vehicle.

Awesome parkup right by the the canal, busy during the day with dog walkers, walkers, cyclists but super quiet at night. Road down is very rough with big potholes so you have to take it very very slow. Room for two motorhomes or vans max really.

Great quiet spot down rough road. We wouldn’t have brought our previous 7m motor home down here. Plenty of space for 4/5 vans. This is the correct postcode not the other one. Parking is before the little bridge. No height or width restrictions.

not the sort of place you would want to stay the night the road down will definitely damage your vehicle. I have no idea why people are giving this a 5-star rating. I wish people would use a bit of common sense and give a real review that helps.

Would’ve been good for a nice stop over but a group of people came down in a car around 11pm playing really loud, really bad music. Surely there’s no need for happy hardcore at 11pm on. Thursday night? Haha

As per other reviews, a bit bumpy on the track but take it slow and it’s fine. Plenty space for around 4 vans. Peaceful stop next to the canal.

Beautiful place, take it very slow on the track down. Lovely area and the locals are very friendly.

lovely spot, the road is really rough tho so take it slow, we came down the first time in our van no problems but this time we are in a lowered car and even with my husbands advanced driving skills we still scraped a couple of times and caused some slight damage to the car (nothing major and the car is only slightly lowered but enough not to attempt it again in this vehicle).

Perfect spot, watched a beautiful sunset. It was the perfect place to rest for a night during our trip from York back to Dover. Very quiet. Can fit 3 or 4 vans.

Schöner Platz für 3 Fahrzeuge direkt am Kanal für kleine Camper mit guter Bodenfreiheit, die Zufahrt ist extrem voller tiefer Löcher. Entgegen dem Symbol gibt es keine Mülleimer.

Parfait pour une nuit, accessible en camping car poids lourd si pas trop de voiture. On peut même se balader le long du canal. Très calme.

Nice quiet little spot by canal out in countryside

Agreed it is a beautiful quiet spot by a canal, but the gravel path from the road is so bad that it is a serious threat to the structure of your vehicle. They are more like bomb craters than pot holes. There is no way to turn around and come back you have to go all the way to the end, so walk down and check that it is not full before you attempt it ( if you do).

Beautiful spot. But not only is the track to it bumpy, which is fine if you take it slow, but there are large mounds where the track has sunken. I bottomed out twice catching both the hydraulic jacks and the chassis itself. AlKo chassis vans be careful

Fabulous quiet place despite the potholes on the track. It’s quite a way on from the postcode and would have missed the unmarked track on the right if we hadn’t seen another camper parked down at the far end.

Nice setting, very quiet & out of the way. A track which is not well maintained and has a lot of pot holes gets you down to the canal, ok if you take it easy. Small area only room for 2 or 3 MH's.

We live nearby, and been there few times. Went kayaking. Nice place close to home.

Great spot. Arrived at lunchtime, managed a 5 mile walk along towpath to Grantham and back. Very quiet only dog walkers parking up and we were the only truck all night!

Lovely little spot for 3-4 campers

Lovely spot away from the road with a small green area with trees just to the side of the carpark. canal wildlife was lovely waking up to swans and their signets on the slipway. there were two other vans overnight and used by locals for dog walking etc... lovely peaceful night.

Perfect in every way cool stop over

Perfect, Lovely spot! We arrived quite late and took the bumpy access road very slowly. Once at the wharf we found plenty of space to park up and made camp. In the morning had a nice chat with some of the other campers and then took a short 2.5 mile walk along the canal to the nearby Harlaxton Wharf and Denton Reservoir.

Beautiful peaceful spot by the canal. Access is a short dirt road (lots of potholes). Space for 5-6 vehicles. Nice towpath walks along the canal. Popular spot for fishing but car park was empty by 9pm.

Lovely peaceful spot to park for the night. Not easy to find at midnight... once we found it, it was perfect. There were 2 other campers already here. Woke up with lovely view of the canal.

Lovely quite space, enough room for 3 big vans, very limited phone signal on o2, BT and Three. The short road to get to the spot is VERY bumpy and littered with pot holes. There is a nice grass spot next to the parking area and some beautiful walks up and down the canal
