Wie beschrieben ist der Wald weg, aber sehr ruhig gelegen abseits der Strasse. Meerblick mit Sonnenuntergang, wir waren drei Camper

They’ve largely cleared this site and, as of August 2023, there are a lot of dead tree stumps. It’s still a splendid spot, up above the bay and with a great sunset view and great 4G signal on Vodafone. But no longer forested :(

Lovely quiet spot, hardly any road noise. Perhaps avoid when there is a strong westerly wind. Trees offered us shelter from strong southerly winds.

Great spot to spend the night - quite windy but very sheltered here. Would definitely use this park up again

What a great little place, set back from the main road so very peaceful but amazing views and easy to get too. we used it 2 nights, first night one other camper there, second night on our own. Brilliant for walking dogs rights from the door and easy to have a small.fire if you are sensible. Would absolutely use again.

Fabulous spot! quiet place, beautiful view, rubbish free, separated from the main road, 4G signal. during the day few locals with dogs. 40min walk to fab Blackwaterfoot village. we stayed there for 2 nights with rooftop tent:)

Peaceful, great views, fairly flat, litter free. A few midges when the wind dropped. No amenities. Just off the road which is a quiet one anyway. Had a great overnight stay.

very secluded and quiet, spent 1 night here and we were the only ones here. Great views but a little windy as its exposed.

Fantastic spot! Stayed here a total of 3 nights during our visit (also used nearby campsite). Quiet, sheltered, great views across Sound of Kilbrannan to Campbeltown. Very clean too, but still picked up a few small pieces of litter. One other van joined us one night. Handy for Blackwaterfoot where there are shops, cafe, and....black water disposal!

Great spot, mostly hidden from the main road below. Only saw one car all night/day that used the car park to turn around. Exposed to wind

Great site which could take three campervans at a push. 40 minute walk into Blackwaterfoot, downhill on the way there, uphill on the way back. Fantastic views out over the Firth of Clyde. Great 4G data signal and phone signal, probably overspill from the mainland away on the horizon, but 20-40MBits/sec so who’s complaining! (Vodafone). Forest walks start behind the parking site. What’s not to like!

we stayed 1 night while touring the island. we had a local walker park up during the day for an hour but where then on our own. brilliant views to open the back doors to. very quiet

Nice spot for 1 night lovely view of the sea. Probably room for no more than 2 vans. Good for off griding.

Sept 19 2020. Beautiful evening, clear view to the west over Kintyre. Parking level enough with ramps. Have removed a ring of stones left by a moron who had a fire here in a forest car park. No litter or mess.

Excellent spot pour une nuit. En retrait et surélevé par rapport à la route. propre et très calme, légèrement en pente, belle vue dégagée sur la mer.
