They have now fitted 2.3 metre hight barrier. Car park is almost empty. Will spend my money somewhere else if we are not welcome

Used to love this place. Being from Swansea we loved it here but now a new height barrier fitted last week means this car park isn’t useable by us. The height is 2.3m so will fit smaller vans. Really such a shame.

We tried to stay here recently 27/03/23 and the parking signs have been updated stating no overnight camping is tolerated. Not sure if you would still be okay to stay but we decided to go elsewhere

  • 5/5

Lovely place. Toilets, but not 24hr. Italian restaurant.

  • 5/5

We’ve just had two quiet nights here. You pay £6 for the day (your ticket is for 13hrs, but it’s free between 9pm and 8am) and what great value. We felt quite safe with others also overnighting.

  • 5/5

We paid £6 for 24hr parking and arrived at 6:30pm. People walking dogs along sea front, and a few boy racers about until 10-11pm although kept away and chatting amongst themselves so no bother. A few campervans here for the night so felt safe enough. Toilets opened at 8am, and have beach showers to the back. not alot of park ups at the Gower anymore, so left early so not to upset anyone.

Stayed August Bank Holiday for 1 night. Very busy car park in the day but choice of spaces during the evening. Toilets at Knabb rock open at 8am, Beach showers at the rear of the block. lots of campers staying overnight. Lots of people fishing until later at night and early morn as it was high tide. Boy racers and loud exhausts passing on the road stopped before 11 so a reasonable nights stay

I don't get it... Wednesday at around 7pm i put 6£ in the machine. Machine said ok, ticket valid until Thu 8:18am. Feeding more coins didn't help. That would mean no sleeping out and not 24h of parking. Didn't stay, I saw no other campers though. I suppose all the parkings in Mumbles use the same machines.

Great place. Great views if you get parked next to the walkway with views across the sea. a lot of night and morning fishing which is fab to watch . Great place

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot when the sun's out! Right on the front next to the foot/cycle path. £6 for 24 hours and quite quiet at night. 15 minute walk to the shops in Mumbles. Decent signal if working from the van too.

  • 3/5

Buena ubicación, los baños cierran a las 9 pm , abren a las 9 am , las duchas exterior no tiene agua caliente pero funcionan

  • 5/5

Lovely view. 15 vans/motohomes stopped overnight. No signs saying no overnight. Paid £6. Fairly quiet road in morning so not too noisy.

  • 5/5

Great spot, felt like being on the continent Lots of other campers which was nice Price wasn't too dear £6 for the day Good 4G (EE) Not too noisy

  • 5/5

stopped for 1 night paid for the day .no issues overnight but the toilets were locked. luckily we self sufficient.

  • 5/5

Fab spot and the view and village are lovely. Toilets really close, clean and open at night. Spent the night for free, got a ticket for the day in morning, had a chilly new years dip! Lots of other vans stayed too

  • 5/5

Stayed for 2 nights, paid £6 for day parking, free for overnight. a few other campers and MH in car park. Very quiet spot, walking distance to shops, bars etc

  • 5/5

Lovely place to rest up and look over the bay. We didn't stay overnight and there is a fee up until 9pm. There were a few other campers there who looked to be set for the night. Might be better in summer months where the free period will include daylight. There is a sign that says "no camping or residential" but given the popularity it suggests that this doesn't refer to one night in a van

Lovely free overnight stay with my young daughters. The kind owner of the chippy filled our water tank up. backed onto the water, great views, lots of other vanlifers there aswel, our neighbour gave my daughters a bag of sweets, really nice x

Beautiful views across the bay to Swansea a great location to walk into Mumbles for some great food/drinks with lots of bars/restaurants to choose from. Parking charged from 9pm-8am we arrived 6pm paid for 2hrs + added a few hrs the next day. Road is busy during the night but did sleep, the car park gets very busy in the early morning with surfers etc + council come to check tickets/empty the bins

  • 5/5

Plenty of space for motor homes. Free parking from 9pm to 8am (we just bought a ticket for a few hours in the morning to allow us time for a walk and breakfast). Very peaceful.

  • 4/5

Great spot to stay, lots of others camping too, nice to be on the sea front. It was quiet enough for sleeping but the sea front was used by dog walked runner etc in the morning, with the loos closing over night, not much opportunity to go somewhere discrete. longer vehicles may struggle. The pay and display machine was a nightmare with long wait and hard to use, working in t

Stayed on a Friday night, Loads of campers and large motorhomes stayed the night and toilets open 8am - 8pm. Cars on the main road driving past but couldn't hear them after 11pm. Parking charges apply 8.00 - 21.00 and its £6.00 all day.

  • 5/5

Great spot, overlooking sea/beach with toilets, bars, cafes etc close by. Paid £6 and parked overnight but after paying we thought it was possibly free from 9pm to 8am. Great sunset and sunrise.

  • 4/5

Managed to squeeze on at the exit part in my 9mtr motorhome. sticking out a bit, but traffic wardens were more interested in my vehicle than me poking out. Traffic noise dies down around midnight.

  • 4/5

Lovely location next to sea front. Toilets nearby. Plenty of shops, cafes and Restaurants. 6£ for 24 hrs. No overnight restrictions but park between the lines if in larger motor home.

  • 5/5

Car park ideally located near a cafe and public toilet block open 8am-8pm in summer. Within walking distance to other restaurants, takeaways etc. Lots of campers and motorhomes regularly stay overnight. £6 all day parking 8am-9pm

  • 3/5

Fine for daytime parking although no motorhome specific bays. Sign says no overnight, some were but we didn’t risk it

  • 4/5

Stayed overnight on a Saturday, was relativity quite. alot of other campervan nearby, which the noise came from haha! would stay again

  • 5/5

Nice little spot, public toilets, good pubs and bars. Toilets open 8-8 summer

  • 4/5

Lovely views, great spot for fishing, couple of pubs just down the road.

  • 5/5

Great spot. Lovely views. Lots close by. Plenty of room. Quiet spot.

  • 5/5

Très bien vue superbe sur la baie calme pas de service

  • 1/5

We tried parking here on Tuesday lunchtime. lots of spaces, but none large enough for a 7.5m motorhome. yes there was a possibility of overhang at the rear, but the shrubs were overgrown so this wasn't possible.

  • 2/5

Not really suitable for larger motorhomes unless you Want to park like in the photos and annoy the locals.
