Beautiful place with fresh water stream and amazing views, stayed here for one night with no issues. Great for dog walking and can go up Fan Brycheiniog and Picws Du from here or walk to the reservoir what has a bothy. Signs up for sheep everywhere when I was here there was no sheep but evidence there are here so keep your dog on a lead and take your rubbish home. Very narrow road leading to here wouldn’t take anything over 2m in width.

Beautiful location but very clear signs that overnight camping is not allowed

Great for overnight stays. We didn’t sleep inside the vehicle, but seems like a safe location. We arrived at 2:30 and left at 10:30 the next morning with no problems.

Beautiful spot near Llyn y fan Fawr with a little river next to car park, BUT warden came in the morning (luckily not for us), so if you use this spot arrive lately, drive away early!

Beautiful walks, only day parking. signs up stating no over night parking. there were port-a-loos!

Small windy road with pot holes, managed fine in my T5. Great views and there's currently portapotties in the car park. No camping signs but nobody comes to check. Not much cover from the wind. Nice 1 hour walk up to the lake and there's a little bothy at the top too for a rest on a wet and windy day.

NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYTHING BUT CAR CAMPERS. Knew as soon as I drove down the road that I was going to get stuck coming out. Extremely tight hairpin bend on a sharp incline. My van was wheel spinning all over the place, smoke and engine overheating. 3 attempts. Had to ask a local farmer to tow me up with a tractor. So stressful. My van is 2m wide and 6m long.

Beautiful spot. Just myself all night. The sound of the stream was like one of them sleep apps that relax and put you to sleep. Woke up around 6am to climb some of the peaks and there was just one car that parked up to do the same. When I got back down there wasn’t a space to have.

Beautiful little spot, spent the night here on the 10/11/20. Hairpin turn about 15 minutes away for the location, we couldn’t get up it after multiple attempts in our Fiat Scudo, found an alternative route instead. Beware of the speed bumps on the way in!!! Otherwise, it was well worth it

Great stop, the road on the way is narrow and has some hefty speed bumps secure your mugs! Brilliant walk to the reservoir and around gets pretty busy in the day we arrived around 7pm and there was loads of space.

Excellent location, there is a no camping sign but figure as the sign had a tent and not a van this didn't apply to us. Very quiet minus the occasional sheep and walkers arriving in the morning. Signal isn't great, but all round nice spot.

Amazing walks and scenery here. Just watch of for the ghost of the lady of the lake! There are multiple ways in and out, try and avoid the one with the hairpin! It took us 3 attempts in a Ford Transit 2.4, its steep and crazy tight. Overall its with a visit and would return! Edit: to avoid the hairpin head to Twynllanan first from the carpark.

Really nice location next to a stream. We parked by side of road which was fine until we were woken at 4am as the van was rocking. When I looked out of the window I was greeted by a pair of eyes staring at me. I quicky realised there was a herd of wild horses eating the grass that we were parked on. It was really great to see them so close however I do wish it wasn't so early in the morning.

Really nice place, picturesque. Very quiet and secluded. However driving down a single track lane during the night wasn't the most pleasent experience. One road in and out.

Amazing starting spot for some of the Beacon's best walks but sadly we will never return (without a car). Very sharp hairpin bend on the way out - took my small van 3 tries to get round and caused a lot of smoke and wheel spin. I have a very small van but it's not very powerful. please don't attempt with a motorhome! Quiet night's sleep - fair few walkers in the morning.

Fine place. A bit of a long drive here by narrow roads. Quite place with lots of sheep and a little river. When we woke up a lot of people drove here to walk their dogs a We was parked a bit inconvenient.

Amazing walks nearby and in a very quiet area for the night! The stream is a nice touch and the sheep add to the scenery. Had no problem cooking or sleeping but driving there was an issue, plenty of steep, very steep windy turns and down a very tight road with overhanging trees. By 8-10am the entire carpark was full without any spots left. Nice for one night and worth it but beware of the drive!
