Lovely remote spot on the wrynose pass. Stayed here for one night very light traffic in the day and completely silent at night. but be warned it's a very tight single track road with passing places and inclines as steep as 30% on both sides

Road to get here was difficult. 30 per cent inclines with sharpe bends, single track with passing points, sheep everywhere. We didn't end up staying the night as the wind blowing through the valley was high and extremely cold. Lovely location with small stream and plenty of places to walk.

there are a few little spots along this pass to pull in. At night it is so secluded, quiet and dark. The stream runs right next to you, it is perfect. highly recommend

I’m sure I would have absolutely loved this spot, however I had to turn around after drying out my fuel tank trying to climb up there: it is STEEP!! (~25%) Got to reverse in a lay-by, crashed in a big rock while doing so… no phone signal, first house miles down… nightmare scenario, just make sure you have a full tank, a capable engine and not overloaded like I was and you’ll have the perfect night

Stunning location, we were fine in a sprinter but the pass can be very narrow and steep in areas. Limited passing places so would highly recommend arriving late evening and leaving early when the road is extremely quiet, gives you a much easier run without all the head on traffic.

Busy spot. Lots of places along road. Quiet after dark. Tight single track roads to get there in either direction.

Stayed over the weekend for one night wow definitely a good spot close to the stream and no phone signal what more could you ask for

I probably had the best night I’ve ever had here, was a little worried about getting back out with the weather being -4 in the evening with a little sprinkle of snow, but absolutely stunning we didn’t see a single car from 5:00pm-7:00am

Beautiful spot - saw one person the entire night - will definitely be going back! Scenery is out of this world, roads are to die for and right next to the river.

A lovely spot with flat gravel to park on. Big enough for two vehicles side by side but plenty of other spots along the pass. Road is quiet through the night and not busy at all during the day, although probably busier during the summer.

Many similar parking spots along the pass. Lots with great views and access to walking routes. Quiet road over night (in November)

Very good place, stayed in a lwb sprinter, were the only people there. We came from Windermere and road was ok, went out the other way and I highly advise against coming too and going away that way. I just made it with my friend's t5, it was fine. Only come to and from Windermere if you have a van bigger than a t5

Very beautiful place. More parking spots along the road. Lost in the nature. Probably not suitable for big vehicles as there is some steep roads, risky in winter. A bit of passage during day, almost none during night.
