Came mid Sept, our 5th visit since 2020. 17 nights in total. Owner Rory & his son John always very friendly & welcoming. All facilities & camping area kept very clean. Spotless WC block & adjacent Shower block, all shower cubicles have WC & wash basin. Grassed areas well drained, though we always stay on stone surfaced area. Sheltered, safe & secure. It's a working farm which adds to its charm.
Nice stop over. Friendly owners. Good showers. No laundry or Wi-Fi (contrary to app at the time) Also cost £35 for a night
Great location. Plenty of space. Quiet. Fantastic showers. Friendly owners (family) on working farm. Short stroll to lovely water front and village with a pub serving ng great food, community shop and cafe. Plenty of places to sit and watch the boats come and go.
Tayvallich is a great location, the site was quiet when we were there, view of the bay is restricted but it’s so close to walk into the village. As others have said new showers are great.
We stayed for 1 night at the campsite . Set back from the loch with no particular views , but peaceful . New shower units are fabulous , private with super warm showers .Tayvallich Inn at the entrance to the site .Very easy walk to Carsaig bay .
We love it here and have been coming to this site for about 40 years. Roly the owner has fitted new toilets with lovely warm showers. It’s a wee bit scruffy up the back but it’s on a working farm. 5 mins walk to the shore, excellent TayV Inn, shop and nice coffee shop. Cracking walks around the area, bring your boots, bike or boat and fall in love with this place like we have.
No views from up on the field but decent facilities (vg showers) and a short walk to the village. The site is a bit scruffy. A good base for the area. Last stayed 8/23
Nice enough people at the site but the parking area is poor and views non existent, price is way too high. The village are very anti camper vans so best avoiding and spending your money elsewhere.
Sehr Netter Empfang, duschen und Toiletten tip top, leider steht man auf einer Wiese hinter zig mobilehomes… kein Ausblick, kein schöner Platz… 30 Pfund für zwei Personen im van ohne Strom ist außerdem deutlich überteuert …
Lovely little site. Unfortunately the statics on site do have the best view and the tourers are pushed to the back. However the new shower block was lovely with unlimited free showers and no push buttons! They also sell Calor gas at a very reasonable price (£26 for 6kg propane). The Tayvallich Inn next door is excellent, but booking is recommended. £32 for a motorhome with ehu (2 adults).
Small Holiday Park, mainly statics but good space for motorhomes (behind statics, further from the sea - therefore no views). 7 miles single track road from Crinan to get there. Tayvallich village is stunning. Tayvallich Inn (5 minutes walk) is excellent for dinner/lunch (but book in advance to make sure you get in). Excellent showers incl in price (£32pn, motorhome with EHU)
Ein großzügig angelegter Platz. Der Betreiber Roly ist absolut freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt 2 Böcke mit sanitären Anlagen, einer davon hat 5 Bäder mit Dusche und WC. Eine Wanderung ins nahegelegene Naturreservat ist lohnenswert. Es gibt auch noch einen Küstenwanderweg. Wir haben für 2 Erwachsene und campervan 35 € bezahlt.
Nice spot, plenty of pitches, friendly owner, nice pub and cafe nearby (but didn’t try). £25 for electric hookup pitch. Showers on a £1 meter. Didn’t realise so my wife had a cold one and I had a hot one in the motorhome.
Okay campsite. Toilets/showers basic and showers 1£ for ~4 minutes of hot water. Felt like not getting much for the 25£ for the night (2 people, 1 van). The owner was okay but not overly friendly. Would probably not stay again even though it's beuatifully situated.
One of the friendliest and welcoming campsites I've ever stayed on! Roly is so kind and nice. all the other campers where lovely too. basic facilities but very clean a must is the pub next door...amazing seafood. Tayvallich is a beautiful spot to chill out for a few days. also the cafe does epic cakes!!! nothing bad to say about this place 5 stars plus
