IsmoCamper07/07/2025The are no specific spots for campers. We took two parking spots and no complaints from anyone. Bad mobile internet connection, good toilets. I went to pay for the parking at 17:20 and the cashier asked if I want to wait until 17:45 and I can leave without paying. Very surprising! Very quiet night of sleep.
Ildis25/03/2025Hyvä paikka yöpyä, portti oli auki kun mentiin illalla infon sulkeutumisen jälkeen. Todella siistit vessat oli auki infon aukiolojen mukaan. Huussi oli tien toisella puolella polun alkupäässä. Viereisellä tiellä jonkin verran liikennettä, mutta hyvin sai nukuttua. Parkkipaikka oli valaistu noin 12 asti yöllä. Parkkimaksu oli 2,5€.

Tomoaki27/08/2024Confirmo que si sales después de que cierre el centro de Información es gratis (barreras abiertas). Solo lo usamos para ver las cuevas a 5 minutos pasando la carretera. El centro de información da poca información... Parece ser que se pueden iniciar rutas desde aquí para ver el pueblo

Platz direkt an der Straße. Zum Übernachten vielleicht nur bedingt geeignet, aber durchaus möglich, sind nur über Tag geblieben. Dafür lohnt sich aber der Besuch der Gutmannshöhle. Wessen Camper zu hoch ist und daher von der Lichtschranke als Bus erkannt wird, lässt die Dame in der Information aber ohne Probleme raus.

Prima parkeerplek voor wandelen. Wc op gedurende openingstijden. 2,5€ voor camper van 7 meter lang.

Relatively quiet over night - a little road noise. Toilets when visitor centre open. Bins for waste. €5 if you leave between 09:00 and 18:00, otherwise free even if you arrived earlier. You only pay when you leave and if visitor centre is closed you can’t pay!

Convenient. Free parking if you leave between 17-09 otherwise 5 eur. Good access to gutmanala cave and surrounding trails. Free WC open between 09-17, dry toilet in the woods maybe about 1km away with fire pit and access to river. Garbage and recycling available. Windblower was active in the evening during our visit, some passenger car came and went during the evening and night.

Parking is open all the time. You have to pay for it only in the working time. So if you arrive at 17:00 and it’s closing at 18:00, and you leave at 19:00 or in the morning then you can stay there for free. Nobody will say anything and you will not get a fee. They have toilets, but they are open in working hours. Wind blower or the cleaning staff will indeed work early in the morning.

Free toilets open during daytime. Next to visitor centre and at beginning of many walks. Minus points: at 4am the cleaning service for the parking lot and toilets arrived which is very loud. They even used a leaf blower at 4.30. Not the best of nights but overall good.
Maroon12325/08/2022Endroit tranquille pour passer la nuit, à 200m de la grotte de Gutman, parfait pour démarrer une randonnée le lendemain matin. Toilettes non disponibles la nuit. Pas de services. 2.5€ pour la journée pour voitures et vans. Gratuit entre 18h et 9h.

Mooie rustige slaapplaats. Tot rond 2100 komen nog wandelaars maar daarna rustig . Indien je voor 9 uur smorgens buiten rijd is het gratis. Mooie veilige plaats wat hier niet overal gezegd kan worden.

Good to visit the Gutman cave. It's a 30-45 minute hike to the Turaida castle, the easier path is over the camp ground along the river, not the sign posted one. (Saves you a lot of unnecessary stairs.) BTW: I did not see a any sign that an overnight stay isn't allowed, but I did not ask at the information as I travelled on. Big construction works on the road at the moment.
