Stayed here for 1 night. Small campsite located on a farm. Very quiet apart from distant traffic noise from the motorway about 2 km away. Very welcoming pitches were perfect, electricity at the pitch with water close by. Countryside setting next to the farm house. Showers and other facilities in the converted barn buildings. No noise over night. Defo stay here for 1 night again.
Cash only - machine broken. Facilities- it’s a working farm, showers were dirty. Nice gravel pitches. Mark was unpleasant. Reception clearly marked. Showers just after through chain mail. No discount for camping & caravan club members. Very quiet.
Sehr ruhiger und entspannte Farm mit Tieren. Bezahlung mit Cash oder Karte, vor Ort freundlich empfangen und alles gezeigt wurden. 4x Toiletten und 2x Dusche sehr sauber, dazu schnelles warmes Wasser. 2x größere Spülen, ein Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher steht für alle zur Verfügung. Frischwasser und Abwasserentsorgung inklusive, Stromanschluss kostet extra. Für zwei Personen 20£, sehr zufrieden!
Site looked nice but full, so we asked to pay to refill water and empty black waste and owner was quite rude in telling us no.
Wil je eens bij de boer staan? Op het heuvelachtige platteland? En in de nacht geen lantaarnpaal zien? Alleen wind voelen, de zon zien? Of niet, kan ook! En de voorzieningen zijn goed, goeie verhouding tussen wat je krijgt en betaalt. Nou ja, het is wel the UK! We zijn heel tevreden. En geniet jij ook van de heerlijke rust.
Such a beautiful setting. Best bathrooms we’ve had in a while, thank you. Lots of hooks, hot water, door locks, toilet in the shower room. Great. This is a lovely campsite, within cycling distance to Barnard Castle (be warned it’s hilly), campsite owners very helpful. All facilities here - back and grey waste, recycling and fresh water. Priced correctly at £18 without electric and £23 with.
Super endroit calme avec une belle vue sur la campagne. La propriétaire est très sympathique et on a accès à toutes les commodités. On a payé 22 pound pour 1 nuit avec 1 van 2 adultes et 2 enfants.

Peaceful and basic campsite. Lovely hot showers, friendly owners and recycling facilities. Great to see a working farm… even when the goats escaped!

Sehr schöner Platz mit herrlichem Blick! Zweimal Toilette, Dusche und Waschbecken in großzügigem Raum l! Kleine Spüle davor. Allerdings 20 Pfund fürCamper 2 Personen ohne Strom!
Good facilities, private bathrooms, quiet night a views of fields and pastures. £17 for single person in campervan without electricity is a bit steep though.
Even though it was at full capacity it was peaceful and quiet with plenty of space between pitches. Would recommend and return.

Superbe endroit à la ferme très calme au milieu des troupeaux de moutons de vaches et de petits lapins qui viennent vous voir le soir et le matin nous avons passé, une nuit superbe accueil très chaleureux pour 15 £ la nuit, nous recommandons. Merci à l'agriculteur
