(CO6) Chappel - The Street

we rang ahead an hour before coming, car park full at lunch time but we got in late afternoon. lovely staff, good food and drink, quiet car park overnight, just one other camper on a Sunday night with us. nice fields out the back by the viaduct with some rabbits about. they do a good breakfast between 9-11am.

food and service 10/10 very reasonably priced can get a nice propper homemade hearty meal and a bear for under £20 and stay the night with no worrys nice walk around the millennium Green jst out the back garden can't recommend enough asked manager if was okay to stay where more than happy for me to do so after byeing a meal and a drink

Great location. Nice restaurant. however, popular restaurant as well, so do get there before dinnertime, otherwise, there's a good change the parking is full.

Great location, great food and excellent service. Quiet site at night. Breakfast was equally as good. Many local walks, they accommodated the dog very well.

Lovely country pub, great beer garden to enjoy the sun. Car park has 40 spaces and I was able to squeeze my big van in fine.

Stopped here overnight on way to Harwich. Good choice of standard pub meals at a very reasonable price. Good service, friendly staff. No services but we weren’t expecting any. Car park a reasonable size and nice and quiet when the pub emptied. Easy 35 min drive to Harwich in the morning. Recommended ?

This spot is a real treasure, enjoyed a hearty meal. Something on the menu for all tastes, after walked out the back of the pub garden straight into countryside. Thoroughly recommend this location.

Super quiet location at the foot of Chappel 32 arch Viaduct. Incredibly lively pub with a great menu at reasonable prices. The staff were so helpful. Highly recommended by us.

Leuke plek met wandelmogelijkheden nabij het viaduct. Lekker eten in de pub en bediening met veel gevoel voor humor; aanrader !

Perfecte overnachtingslocatie. Heerlijk eten, super bediening en geen wekker nodig met al die vogeltjes. Plekken zijn vlak en ruimte genoeg. Je betaald met een consumptie

Returned to stay last night another great stay food was good and was the breakfast the new manager is very welcoming always best to call them to check on what is going on in the pub as they often have events on and you might have to leave earlier than planned in the morning etc

Wow!! Called ahead to book a table and to make sure we could stop the night. Very welcoming. Food was amazing. Enough room for a couple of campers. We had breakfast too and again lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Good food in the pub friendly staff nice quite location with a view pub dose get very busy on a Sunday the car park is large but tight for 8m+ vans.

Nice place to stay for a night and get a meal in the pub (external gazebo). Car park was flat and quiet. Couldn’t make the most of the setting due to heavy rain but a nice stream and garden to sit in when the weather is better. Reasonably priced food in the pub and staff friendly.

Lovely spot but difficult parking for larger vehicles. Service in the pub was very stressy, possibly because they’re struggling to cope with Covid regulations.
