Great 5* campsite- one of the best in the UK that we’ve been to! Beautiful wooded site- modern,warm bathrooms. Very friendly staff.Great base for exploring Ambleside & Grasmere

naiwai16/10/20255 star camping site! The showers is the best we have used camping around! They have heating floors in the showers, and they are very spacious! What a lovely site! And Amberside town is a cute place to visit! Staff is lovely, and the pitch is spacious with one direction facing to make sure everyone have their own privacy. We paid 75£ for two nights, on the expensive side, but worth it like a treat
AdventuresofDory06/10/2025£40 per night including electric hook up and 1 x dog. This is normally on the expensive end for a pitch but the site is IMMACULATE - it has a library, exceptionally clean bathrooms, a washing up area with dishwasher and a laundry room with drying room. Really couldn’t fault it and staff were lovely. Great spot for exploring Ambleside and Coniston.
