As of today this is now a demolition site with guards and dogs to keep people off
Le bâtiment est entièrement barricadé et à l'abandon, le parking est donc inoccupé. Rien n'indique qu'il y a un parking de jour ou de nuit. Il y a une poubelle dans un coin, à proximité de la plage, d'une station-service avec lave-linge, d'une aire de jeux et de restaurants. On nous a laissés tranquilles sans problème, et un habitant du quartier à qui nous avons parlé nous a suggéré l'emplacement et nous a dit que les gens y séjournent souvent dans leurs fourgonnettes.
Building here is all boarded up and derelict so the car park is not in use. There is nothing stating that there is no day or overnight parking. There is a bin in the corner and near by to beach and petrol station with washing machine and play park and food places. We were left alone without issue and a local person we spoke to suggested the spot snd said people often stay here in there vans.
Das Gebäude hier ist komplett vernagelt und verfallen, sodass der Parkplatz nicht genutzt wird. Es gibt keine Hinweise darauf, dass Tages- oder Nachtparkplätze vorhanden sind. In der Ecke steht ein Mülleimer, und in der Nähe befinden sich Strand, Tankstelle, Waschmaschine, Spielplatz und Restaurants. Wir wurden problemlos allein gelassen, und ein Einheimischer, mit dem wir sprachen, schlug den Parkplatz vor und sagte, dass hier oft Leute mit ihren Vans übernachten.
El edificio está tapiado y abandonado, así que el aparcamiento no está en uso. No hay nada que indique si hay aparcamiento de día o de noche. Hay un contenedor en la esquina y cerca de la playa, una gasolinera con lavadora, un parque infantil y restaurantes. Nos dejaron solos sin problema y una persona local con la que hablamos nos sugirió el lugar y nos dijo que la gente suele alojarse allí en sus furgonetas.

Sydwal19/03/2026The old Four Winds pub. Rubbish mentioned by others not too bad - but we did see a van lifer with a picker clearing up. Next to seafront so great location. Close to road but it's quiet from about 11pm. At time of writing there's another long term van lifer in in there who is an aggressive weed head (you can smell it) in a beaten up white van who threatened us. Beware. Wash.Me laundry nearby.

did not feel safe, cars in & out of the car park & glass everywhere, derelict & run down pub, right next to the main road.

A77719/08/2025This isn't somewhere you would want to stay for the night, glass smashed everywhere, rubbish everywhere including baby & adult nappies. The beach is also not dog friendly in summer. I moved on.

Nice spot, right opposite the sea, with pubs and restaurants all within a short walk. The road is close but traffic is very slow, I think a 20mph limit so you can hear it but it's not noisy, and dies right down after about 10pm. The car park is used by lots of people in the day time but nobody had any issues with me being here, and mostly people were friendly. Good spot, I'd happily use it again.
