a most fantastic aire have to be self contained and no dogs due to sheep wandering about I guess,,the views are stunning with the peace makes this so nice, the check in is very simple either e mail the owner or just take your chance and turn up beware there us only 4 pitchies,£10 in honesty box and that's it,,,feet up and settle in ,,we couldn't stop taking photos,,
Excellent off road Motorhome overnight aire parking . Great views really quiet 20 mins easy walk into Keswick . £10 cash honesty box . Follow grid reference not postcode ( as postcode takes you a mile up the road to houses ) will definitely stay here again thanks
What a great place to stay! It's not easy finding somewhere last minute near Keswick and especially one so decently priced, quiet, with views and walks nearby. Despite the awful rain we at least could shelter in Keswick many cafés and were warm and cosy in our motorhome overnight listening to the rain pelt down.
Brilliant aire! Walk into town, great food at The Pheasant Inn on the way there or back! Cannot fault the spot, great views and literally 15 - 20 mins walk into Keswick - and on proper footpaths! Super views of Skiddaw and surrounding area. Definitely be back. Phone signal shows 4G good signal but not great for browsing internet on ID Mobile (3) although Giff Gaff was much better.
Fantastic place to stay over if you don’t need facilities. We stayed in September 25 and Julie was great even at very short notice. Honesty box in shed with lots of tourist information and even bottled water. Easy walk into Keswick but we only got as far as the Pheasant pub. The food was amazing. Will definitely be back.
We stayed here on Friday night. It was a brilliant stop to break up the trip home from Scotland. If you want to see Keswick this is a good site near the town via footpaths. We will be back
Great stop. No facilities but lovely views and short walk into Keswick. Pheasant Inn worth stopping at for food but do book. Quiet night would use again.
