Endroit calme et petit, pratique pour passer une nuit les pieds dans l’herbe. Beau pré derrière pour se détendre. Les chiens sont acceptés et le paiement en euros est pratique. Aucun service disponible et pas d’accueil particulier de l’habitant, mais le lieu reste idéal pour une halte rapide.

We turned up unannounced and luckily there was one spot free. Stuart was there to guide us in and give us advice on dog walks etc. After a lovely visit to Brougham Hall ( a short walk away), there are some amazing artisan shops and a great cafe, we had a very quiet evening on this simple but pleasant site. Yes, there is a hum from the distant traffic but what do you expect with the convenience of it being so close to the M6.

Excellent little stopover, very welcoming and helpful, so nice to be able to have the dogs offlead and direct access to footpaths too. Fantastic price! The uk needs more like this.

A perfect stop over. Great water supply, wonderful location and a price which is fair. £5 to stay, £5 for water, £5 for Wi-Fi. I wish there was more people who offered this in UK. Wonderful and helpful hosts. Can’t fault them or their Aire at all. Thank you

Simply perfect! a nice flat grassed area with far reaching views over the countryside, perfectly located for a stop on our way back from Scotland. Very Friendly owner and an absolute bargain. Also it felt safe and secure!. would definitely use again.

Guter Platz für eine Übernachtung im autarken Camper. Netter Empfang, £5,- Schöner Ausblick, ruhig, aber man sieht die Autobahn ca. 1 km westlich und hört sie auch leise. Netter Spaziergang über den Fußweg nach Brougham Hall. Vorher einkaufen, hier gibts nichts. Wir haben auf dem Weg hierher Acorn Gardens (Natural Trust) besucht. 10 km entfernt.

Wonderful place! Stayed here for one night on our journey to Scotland and would definitely recommend! Very quiet place and friendly owners. Dogs are very welcome too! We enjoyed our stay, great place!

We loved our night here. Great owners, very friendly. Loved how dog friendly it was. We had a great walk over to the famous tudor Hall nearby, you can go straight onto the footpath from the site. We took our dog over the stiles no problem. Highly recommend.

Malgré une arrivée tardive à 22 heures, nous avons été accueilli avec sourire et gentillesse. Nous avons senti que notre chienne était la bienvenue. Un petit coin bien sympathique, où nous avons passé une très bonne nuit au calme. Nous recommandons à 100 %.

We stayed here for one night. It’s a beautiful place, and £5 is more than fair. The owner is super friendly and gave us lots of great tips for the area (Brougham Hall is lovely!) and also for our trip to Scotland. We would definitely recommend this place. As with all the other positive comments, a great place to stay en route to Scotland, Penrith has large supermarkets and fuel for stocking up. Exceptional hosts make you feel very welcome.

Lovely little site, with fresh water, WiFi, bin and dogs allowed (Please clean up their mess) Stuart and Ronda were lovely and welcoming. £5 a night and £5 for WiFi. Deffo recommend coming here for the odd night or four! Great views and peaceful. Had a great nights sleep. Will be coming back I’m sure.

A really handy stopover when travelling to and from Scotland - off the M6 at J40. Level grass pitches dog friendly but best of all the owners are really nice and friendly. No hesitation in recommending this place. We’ll be back.

Excellent stopover at The Keepers Cottage. Just off the M6 Penrith junction an ideal stop for travelling to and from Scotland. The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We loved the fact that it was a very simple park up for self contained vehicles, keeping the price low. Don’t change!! We’ll be back to visit!!

What a wonderful little stopover en route back home to Scotland. Peaceful and a 100% fair price just to park up safely for the night. Bonus was the lovely field next door for our dog to run around in. Sadly the owners weren’t there so we didn’t meet them and left the money in their porch but we will be back again for sure.

Endlich ein unkomplizierter Stellplatz, ankommen und parken und wohlfühlen. Nahe zur Autobahn Richtung Schottland, diese ist aber kaum hörbar. Fußläufig zum Brougham Castle und Broughham Hall. Wir sind die zweiten Gäste nach der Eröffnung. Ist uns eine Ehre. Sehr netter Eigentümer.
