Pasamos una noche muy tranquila y gratuita. Algo de ruido de los coches al pasar pero dormimos muy bien. Zona limpia y rodeados de vegetación.
Parking pour réservoir, calme et est accessible depuis la M40. Le parking principal a une barrière de hauteur de 2,2 m mais un espace comme indiqué sur la photo ou en face devant une clôture métallique qui ne s'ouvre pas.
Car park for reservoir, quiet and east to get to from M40. Main car park has height barrier of 2.2m but space as shown in photo or opposite in front of a metal fence that doesn’t open.

cbrchic01/06/2025If you need a stopover off the M40 this worked well. Space to park 6.5m van in area prior to 2.2m height barrier. Ear plugs advised for traffic noise. Flat. You cannot see the reservoir from the park up but it's 1 mile flat circuit route on shale. Area has lots of walkers. Tesco 0.7 mile for fuel. No bins. Take rubbish away.

Vorteil: gute Anbindung an der Autobahn für eine Zwischen Übernachtung auf dem Weg nach Norden oder Süden. Ansonsten sehr laut und unruhig.

Spent the night here. Lots of movement during early evening as it seemed to be on a pathway to businesses and Tesco. As previous poster stated you are able to hear the constant passing of cars and a couple of cars arrived to do whatever car drivers do later in the evening..

Bit of noise from main road throughout the night and some late movements of cars & dog walkers but a good spot for one night. Busy during the day. Good access for walking along canal to centre.

Be careful as if you put Spiceball Park Car Park into google it takes you to a different car park which you cannot park a motorhome. This car park doesn’t show as a car park on google maps, but it’s on Grimsbury Green if you want to find it. Very limited spaces for a motorhome before the height barrier but perfect if visiting Banbury as it’s free parking & nowhere else that I could find to park a motorhome! Yes there are rats in this area. Lovely walk along the canal.

There is a height barrier and a little noise from the close by road at peak times but it's just for a night spot with a nice walk

Could have parked here but saw several water rats, car park has new height restrictions and resevoir car park locked. Decided to go to nearby pub stop.
