Ruhige Lage und doch nur wenige Gehminuten vom Dorf Santo Antonio das Areias entfernt, das 2 Restaurants, Cafés, Bars, 1 Lebensmittelgeschäft ( jeden Tag geöffnet), eine Apotheke und ein städtisches Hallenbad bietet. Täglich( ausser Sonntags ) kommt der Bäcker auf den Platz.

Dieser Campingplatz ist ein echter Tipp und für uns ein Highlight im Alenteijo. Hier findet man Ruhe, Natur und Kultur. Der Platz hat verschieden große Stellplätze in einem wunderschön angelegten Garten. Ein Traum. Die Sanitärräume sind sehr gepflegt. Das österreichische Betreiberpaar empfängt seine Gäste herzlich und gibt Tipps für Ausflüge. Wir waren bereits 2x hier - wir kommen wieder!
Kleine maar charmante camping. Goede voorzieningen en keurig onderhouden. Van blaffende honden ‘s nachts geen last gehad.

zeer rustige Camping. kleine plaatsen. bakker komt om 9 uur. vriendelijke uitbater. proper sanitair. spijtig van het zwembad dat toe is in oktober. het was nog warm genoeg. en de vele honden die gans de nacht blaffen.
Excelente local para pernoitar, tranquilo e acolhedor, os proprietários são cordiais e muito atenciosos, há um padeiro que vem às 09:00h com pães frescos, doces e bolo. Os banheiros são limpos e muito confortáveis, as duchas são excelentes. Ótimo local para ficar com autocaravanas, campers ou barracas, 25 euros o pernoite de uma campervan 2 pax, com fornecimento de energia.
We stayed 2 nights in this small, beautiful and charming campsite - a little piece of heaven. The owners are very welcoming and the facilities are very well maintained. There are numerous nearby lanes for walking and cycling and the nearby walled town of Marvao is a must- the local taxi driver Bruno was very helpful with bringing and collecting us. Overall, this campsite is a definite " must".

Wunderschöner kleiner Campingplatz mit allem was man braucht und sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Eigentümern. Super saubere sanitäre Anlagen, Pool, Ver- und Entsorgung und Brötchenservice vom Bäcker. 10 Minuten zum Ort mit kleinen Restaurants und diversen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, luogo tranquillo. bagni puliti e doccia calda. Pane e dolcetti freschi ogni mattina (eccetto la domenica!). L’unico neo non c’è la possibilità di scaricare le grigie e in caso di necessità la Wi-Fi non funziona molto velocemente.
Campeggio stupendo, accoglienza calorosa e piazzole grandi. Siamo stati benissimo mantenendo la nostra privacy. La mattina arriva direttamente il fornaio in campeggio con pane fresco e dolci da poter acquistare. Se vi piace la tranquillità ed una vista mozzafiato su Marvão è il posto giusto per voi.
Tout petit « camping » - il faut prendre en compte qu’il n’y a aucune place à l’ombre. Pas de quoi vider les eaux grises. Sanitaires très propres. Piscine agréable mais il ne faut pas que le camping soit complet, sinon on est vite à l’étroit. Uniquement 4 transats de disponible. Pour 29€ cela est un peu cher pour le confort. Néanmoins au calme et vu sur Marvao selon emplacement
Camping tranquilo y muy acogedor. Pasamos dos noches muy calurosas, pero gracias a la piscina todo fue más llevadero. Los dueños son muy amables y siempre pendientes de lo que puedas necesitar. Tienen el camping muy muy limpio y bonito.
Corroboramos los comentarios anteriores: sitio encantador y dueños superamables y serviciales. Nos salvó de la ola de calor su maravillosa piscina y su frigorífico compartido. Para repetir sin duda. Precio 29€.
Very clean campsite, great to visit the surrounding small towns. Only downside I would say is rules at the pool no eating drinking and playing and the opening times of the pool. If I was the owner I would turn it around and serve drinks at the pool. It closes at 1800 other than that better than no pool. But would be nice to cool at 41 degrees after a city trip.
Very cute camping with pool and welcoming guests. Everything was great! Bathrooms and shared spaces were super clean all the time! Would recommend :) the only issue was that some of the residents came in the middle of the night and were very loud while setting up their camp. It can also get very warm at night.
A perfect 1st campsite for arriving into Portugal from Spain. We had been experiencing high heat but the few trees there & our sun shade made it fine. Great wee pool to cool down, quiet, safe walk to village we had a great meal there. very clean facilities, we loved the garden & nature
Adoramos o parque, são super acolhedores e está tudo muito limpo. Há possibilidade de comprar pão logo de manhã, quando o padeiro aparece no parque! O preço inclui eletricidade
Ficámos uma noite e adorámos. Tranquilo, donos super simpáticos, piscina agradável, tudo super limpo e com muita atenção aos pormenores. Estavam 40 graus, mas à noite arrefeceu e dormimos bem. E de manhã comprámos pão fresco ao padeiro que passou por lá:)
Very nice, well equipped and quiet campsite. Friendly welcome, lovely pool, bread service. Nice pitches. The only minus was that there wasn't much shade (40° C). although the owners provided a toldo, which was very friendly. we would love to come back one day.
Waren ab 10. Juni ein paar Tage auf dem sehr ruhigen, kleinen, familiären Platz mit toller Aussicht auf Marvao. Gepflegte Stellplätze. Neue und saubere Sanitäreinrichtungen. Waschmaschine und Wäschespinnen vorhanden. Im Poolbereich gibt es sogar eine Warmwasserdusche. Dank der guten Informationen und Unterlagen von Robert und Anna haben wir tolle Radtouren erlebt.

Un petit camping familial comme on les aimes. Si vous cherchez du calme et de la tranquillité vous avez trouvé. Sanitaire super propre et moderne. Nous avons passé une super nuit bercée par les clochettes des brebis. Je recommande à 100%.
Hele schattige camping tussen de olijfbomen. Vanaf onze plek hadden we uitzicht op het dorpje Marvão, vooral ‘s avonds was dat magisch. Er is ook een zwembad wat heerlijk is om af te koelen en er komt een bakkertje in de ochtend die z’n brood direct vanuit z’n busje verkoopt, ook heel leuk. Sanitair schoon en functioneel. Aanrader!
Petit camping d’une quinzaine de places très agréable en plein milieu de la campagne portugaise mais non loin de toutes les commodités. Accueil très sympathique, sanitaires ultra propres et bien agencés. Vue sur le village de Marvão. Il y a une piscine que nous n’avons guère eu le temps d’utiliser… Je recommande fortement !

Camping trop cher. 25€ la nuit pour de petits emplacements, le long d'une route ( heureusement pas trop passante) et des moutons qui ont une cloche autour du cou. Sanitaires très propres. Très bel accueil.

Een hele fijne, serene kleine camping met vriendelijke, behulpzame eigenaren. Goed sanitaire en goede douches. De bakker komt dagelijks, behalve op zondag. In het centrun een posto medico, waar ik goed geholpen ben. Idem voor de farmacia voor de medicatie. Mooi wandel gebied. De grape fruits vers van de struik zijn heerlijk.
This small campsite is lovely. Pitches are among olive trees and you are surrounded by quite striking rocky countryside. It is most peaceful. Clean and modern facilities, reasonably priced I don't think you could ask for more.
De loin le plus joli camping de ce format que nous avons fréquenté dans notre parcours en Espagne et Portugal depuis un mois. Intégré dans une oliveraie et autres arbustes décoratifs, les installations et services sont fonctionnels. les jeunes propriétaires sont avenants et sympathiques. Einer der besten Plätze auf unserer Reise. Die Lage ist super und eignet sich als direkter Ausgangspunkt für viele Wanderungen. Wir hatten hier 2 sehr ruhige Nächte. Die Anlage ist wirklich schön und gepflegt. Große und private Stellplätze mit viel grün. Die sanitären Anlagen sind ebenfalls toll: Sauber, gepflegt, gute Dusche. Vielen Dank an Anna und Robert.
Was für ein idyllischer Campingplatz mit so liebenswerten Betreibern und für uns zur großen Erleichterung auch noch deutschsprechend! Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt, sollte es uns nochmals in diese schöne Gegend verschlagen, dann kommen wir sehr gern wieder!

Prachtig gelegen mini camping. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. Het sanitair is modern en spic en span schoon. Wij bleven 1 nacht op doorreis, maar kunnen ons voorstellen een andere keer wat langer te blijven. Zeer aan te bevelen.
Certainement le meilleur lieu de camping du Portugal ! Nous avons été super bien reçu par Nelson, les enfants ont pu nourrir les animaux, faire un tour sur les poneys et jouer dans la petite plaine de jeux. Nous avions prévu de rester une nuit, et sommes restés 3 nuits tant le lieu nous plaisait.
We spent two nights here and really enjoyed this charming campsite. The owners are very friendly and discreet, the showers and WC are kept very clean and they have thought of all ways for your comfort, hooks in all the right places. Well sheltered swimming pool which was perfect after a long bike ride. Highly recommend this place.
L'endroit est vraiment génial, calme. Au milieu des oliviers... Nos hôtes étaient adorables. Ne parlant pas portugais, nous avons pu communiquer avec eux en anglais. Tout était d'une grande propreté. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine.

Tiny, rustic site. The swimming pool is the pool of the owners house but closes at 6pm which is very early on a hot summer day. . Very clean facilities. Pitches are quiet small and not much manoeuvre room for larger vans. But so quiet and peaceful!
A small but truly lovely campsite among olive trees. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean, and the hosts are very nice. There is also a small swimming pool, but we didn't try it. You can buy bread in the morning. They accept cash payments only!

Hôte très accueillant, nous avons apprécié la prolongation de l'accès à la piscine d'une heure en raison de notre arrivée tardive. What a great place to kick back and unwind. You won't be doing laps in the small pool but it's a lovely setting. Facilities spotless. €21pn without hook up,but electricity is available.

Lovely quiet small campsite run by new Austrian owners, very friendly and speak and english. V good facilities. Set in beautiful countryside with cork oak, olive and chestnut. Great bird life, heard and saw golden orioles. Lovely walk up to the very impressive castle at Marvao. Recommend tapestry museum at Portalegro and nearby Ammaia Roman ruins.

Lovely, small, intimate campsite in the hills north of Marvao. Perfect for campervans, large motorhomes might struggle. Excellent facilities and hot water for dish washing - a bonus ! Looking forward to visiting Marvao and walking walk 31 in Ciccerone - Walking in Portugal
Lovely campsite in stunning landscape, we were made to feel very welcome by Gary, who was very helpful with local knowledge, walks, etc.. Facilities were excellent. Views of Marvão at night not to be missed. Dogs also very welcome, although the local cats may disagree!

On est arrivé à 16h30 et c’était fermé dégoûté.
Pour nous cela restera une superbe étape dans ce camping, Venu pour une nuit et resté 2. Petit camping, petites parcelles, petit sanitaire et petite piscine. très bon accueil, électricité 10A. Le village est à 15mn a pieds(distributeur, commerces) Marvao a 10mn en voiture. le boulanger passe le matin pour du pain frais.
Contrairement à un commentaire. Petit camping = tranquillité. 20 emplacements maxi. 2 douches chaudes pour homme idem pour les femmes. 2 wc pour chacun. 3 vasques pour chacun de quoi avoir du temps. Vidange des cassettes derrière les wc. Pour l eau un arrosoir de 20litres à disposition. 20€ pour être dans les Oliviers et au calme. Sommes restés 2jours. Merci au propriétaire pour l accueil
Tout est riquiqui, les emplacements et leurs accès, les équipements, les services : 3 petits lave mains en guise de lavabos, 2 douches, 1 WC, 1 hors service, rien pour vidanger les eaux grises... pas d'eau potable pour le camping car... pas de boissons ou snack... 20€ p/ 2 Excessif, eu égard services disponibles ou comparé à d'autres dans la région, spacieux, bien équipés, pour moins cher.

Fomos recebidos com muita simpatia. O espaço é super selvagem, pequeno mas com todas as condições, muito limpo e possibilidade de usar a piscina. Cabras, ovelhas, vacas em volta, ótimo para acordar com o barulho da natureza.

I didn’t understand the previous comments for having difficulties getting in with a 7m Motorhome. We had one and had no issues getting in and out. Clean facilities with some room for improvement.

Top Lage nahe Marvao, sehr ruhig, schöne geräumige Plätze, saubere Toiletten und Duschen und ein sehr freundlicher Empfang durch den Besitzer. Uns hat vor allem die gemütliche Atmosphäre gut gefallen!

Je mets un 5 étoiles car c’est vraiment un camping à dimension humaine et familiale. Camping bien entretenu dans un paysage magnifique. Les sanitaires sont très propres et vraiment adaptés à la taille du camping. Sans oublier que le propriétaire est très sympathique. Une belle rencontre avant notre passage vers l’Espagne. Faites une halte, vous allez apprécier ce lieu.
A response to the review made by asterion. It states very clearly on the Camping Asseiceira description on THIS App, that advance reservations are required in November, December 2021, and January 2022. It is very wrong that you rate Camping Asseiceira only 1* when it was your own ignorance that caused your problem
Une étoile pour avoir trouvé porte close (en arrivant à la nuit tombée), mais il en mérite peut-être plus. Au téléphone le propriétaire nous indique qu’en hiver il faut réserver un jour avant. Difficile de faire marche arrière pour regagner la route et des voitures derrière. Sinon le camping a l’air joli vu de derrière la grille.
A lovely small site located in a vineyard close to the town of San Antonio de Areias. The facilities are super clean. The owner Gary is a lovely chap, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. There are gorgeous walks from the site, and miles of local biking along almost deserted lanes. A visit to Marvao is a must, but honestly just relax and enjoy the vibe!
Attention, juste un petit rappel : il n’y a pas de vidange eaux grises et la wifi ne passe pas, il faut être autour de l’accueil .
Attention le prix du camping est de 22,00€ la nuit avec Electricité pour 2 personnes et camping car .nous sommes le 15 octobre, après de 2 à 6 nuitées 16,00€.Électricité est de 10 ampères. Wifi. Sanitaires neuves très propres et piscine. Propières très sympathique.
Pequeño camping, tranquilidad absoluta. Los dueños muy amables y simpáticos. No le doy 5 estrellas por falta de vaciado de aguas grises y negras. Limpieza de baños correcta. Buen sitio para desconectar. Rutas de senderismo muy bonitas.

A lovely little campsite, well kept with a nice pool area. Nice walks in the area and not to far to walk to the village. Gary is friendly and helpful. Pitches a little on the small side. Facilities clean, tidy and well kept. We will return.

É um espaço maravilhoso, pequeno e bastante familiar com tudo o que precisamos para descansar. Perto de tudo e ao mesmo tempo longe para nos sentirmos verdadeiramente na natureza. Tudo super, super limpo. A piscina é muito agradável. Adorámos tudo. Sítio ótimo para acampar e para autocaravanas. Gary é de uma simpatia espetacular e super bom anfitrião.
Petit camping très très propre, belles fleurs, sanitaires au top. Pas beaucoup d'ombre car les arbres sont des petits oliviers. piscine très agréable. actuellement, le lave-linge n'est pas accessible pour cause de covid19. remplissage eau potable et vidage cassette ok. pour eau grise, il faut vider avec un seau.
Simply an amazing camp site. Gary is a fantastic host, was beyond friendly, and his entire campsite is very neat, tidy, and peacefully quiet. The bathrooms/showers were so clean they sparkled. Easy walk to the village for groceries. Bread delivery in the mornings. Numerous hikes through the country or up to the castle. This will be a place we miss.
Der Platz ist absolut zu empfehlen! Wir sind selten so freundlich auf einem Camping empfangen worden, Gary ist wirklich ein Gastgeber, nicht nur Betreiber eines Campings. Es ist ein wunderschöner Platz mit Olivenbäumen, alles sehr natürlich gestaltet. Zum Wohlfühlen!
Adorámos o parque, muito bem cuidado, e balneários bem tratados. Piscina de água salgada com pré-duche de água quente :o Caminhadas interessantes para fazer na região. Fizemos a que nos leva ao Marvão, de 4,6 Km a uma elevação de 647m. Paisagem espectacular.

Petit camping pour petit camping-car ( laika intégral 6m ) au top dans la campagne au calme juste le bruit des cloches de moutons pour s’endormir. De belles petites randonnées au départ du camping 4/5/7/9/11 km. Petite piscine d’eau salée. Attention en saison vite plein

Very clean and pretty site. Found a lovely walk nearby. Quite a small site and may be difficult for larger vehicles or with trailers (we are 7m long and had no problems)
Good for smaller sizes of van. It's worth calling or emailing ahead if you want to stay. The owner is really prompt in replying. It's a lovely well run site and you'll definitely meet nice people too. Marvão is definitely worth a visit. It's spectacular and very unspoiled.
Gary has a beautiful, well attended place. Idyllic campground, clean bathrooms, cozy setting in nature. Highly recommend!

2* c'est peut-être arbitraire, mais c'est pour indiquer que ce camping est plus adapté aux petits camions et petits camping-cars. Nous sommes arrivés avec un camping-car et une remorque, et le propriétaire nous a gentiment indiqué que c'était trop gros et nous sommes repartis.
Un des meilleurs campings où nous sommes allés au Portugal. Tout petit, au calme, au milieu des oliviers avec pleins de randonnées à faire. Très propre et avec tous les services nécessaires. L'accueil est parfait, on ne peut rien demander de plus !
Beautiful setting amongst olive trees on the edge of the village. Gary is the most loviest host, friendly, helpful and has an immaculate site. Lots of walking, cycling and sightseeing to do from here. Will definitely come back to explore more.
This really is camping at its best. Small, charming, unique, immaculately clean, and Gary the owner is very welcoming and there when you need him (without being intrusive) and incredibly good value, considering what's on offer. Some stunning walks locally, and everything you need in the village. We always make a point of visiting when in the area. 6 stars from us!
The comments written here by "tinasaorine" are incorrect. Camping Asseiceira has a council maintained tarmac road directly to the entrance of the campsite. It is never a problem in the rain. Also the owner is always happy to show people the facilities. Is it possible that you have mistaken this campsite with another nearby?
Came for 1 night but stayed for 3 so relaxing, immaculate facilities with so many extras. Reception with dvd's, books and games to borrow. owners are so friendly and helpful. Plan of local walks useful for dog walking. Will highly recommend to all.
Petit camping agréable, calme et reposant. Grands emplacements, ombragés et arborés, petite piscine. Pour démentir certains commentaires : le flegme anglais n'est pas à la portée de tous, nous y avons vu manœuvrer des camping-cars relativement imposant, risque d'embourbement limité à mon avis, et "loin de tout" dans cette région, c'est relativement normal même si on y trouve de nombreux services à 20 mn à pied. Aparté : Le gérant est fan des T4 ?
Un camping à recommander pour celui qui cherche la tranquillité, sanitaires propres, accès peut-être moins facile pour des grands camping-cars. Idéal pour aller à Marvao.

Ótimo ambiente, calmo, com piscina. A povoação próxima tem tudo o que é necessário, perto da praia fluvial da portagem, 20 min de Portalegre. Pessoal simpático, instalações sanitárias cuidadas. O único senão é a entrada que é um pouco apertada mas nada de especial, entrei com o conjunto (carro roulote) tranquilamente.

Camping loin de tout, le bout du monde, nous y sommes passés pour voir, très mauvais accueil du propriétaire, il a refusé notre demande de voir les emplacements, donc nous sommes répartis, l'accès me semble compliqué chemin de terre et à mon avis dangereux en cas de pluie
Super petit camping sous les Oliviers en pleine nature. Un accueil super sympa en anglais. Le boulanger passe tous les matins vers 9h. Entrée du camping un peu étroite. Sanitaires nickels. Tarif 17 € pour deux personnes, un camper sans électricité. À cinq minutes en voiture du château de Marvão.
We stayed here for a few days to sit out the rain. Even without the sun shining the place is beautiful. So quiet but has everything you need. Gary the owner was incredibly warm and made sure we had everything we needed. Fresh bread gets delivered every morning for you to buy which is a bonus. Some lovely walks too. Highly recommend!
This is one of the highest rated campsites in Portugal on Google, Tripadvisor and Zoover Visit and you will understand why :)
Beau mais petit. Notre camping-car ne pouvait pas dépasser l'entrée. Nous devions aller dans un autre camping et le propriétaire anglais demeurait hostile et ne voulait pas nous informer des camps qui étaient là.
