Felt a bit weird staying in a lay-by beside a main road but it did quieten down between 22:00 and 07:00. Toilet block was open during the day and closed between 17:00 and 10:00 overnight (off season). Short walk to pub for food and drinks. Spectacular view of Loch Tay.
We stayed here one night. Nice walks on the beach and played ball with our dogs. The place where you park is fairly sloped but we parked so our heads would be up. It was fairly quiet with the occasional vehicle driving by. Would stay again. Lovely view of the lake.
Do not miss this place – so beautiful- Lock Tay is so picturesque– walked around the loch & around the town beautiful pub, great food, friendly people lots of bespoke shops – cheap groceries -We were recommended to see Kenmore – so happy we went there – we parked in Town for the day did not stay overnight – believe that you can stay near the picnic grounds overnight for free.
