Well located right on the coast within easy reach of walks and town. Shower and toilet facilities good, but the elsan dump was vile! Also, the pitch we had was ridiculously close to the next one, despite there being lots of space around.
Netter Stellplatz angeschlossen an einen sehr großen Caravanpark. Saubere und warme Duschen. Wir haben 30£ pro Nacht ohne Strom bezahlt und hatten einen geraden Stellplatz. Es gab allerdings auch einige Schräge Plätze.
Wunderschöner Campingplatz! Wir hatten einen Stellplatz mit Blick aufs Meer und Burgruine. Der Ort ist ca. 1km entfernt und über den Küstenweg zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und die Einrichtungen sehr sauber.
This has to be the most beautiful campsite i have ever been to, there is no faulting this place and the gentleman handling business is two thumbs up. Amazing view and spotless facilities, £30 for 3 in a motorhome in august. Highly recommend
Très bel endroit surplombant l'entrée du canal du nord et faisant face aux côtés Irlandaises. Arrivés en van sans avoir réservé, l'accueil de John a été parfait. Il nous a placés face à la mer et aux ruines de Dunskey Castel! Superbe! Un sentier côtier très agréable mène à Portpatrick en 1/4 d'h. Tout est très propre. 30£ pour 2 + un van qui valent le coup (+5£ pour l'électricité si besoin)
The campsite is situated in a superb location overlooking Dunskey Castle, the area is well maintained and services spotless. The Elsan point could do with improvement, quite unsanitary really and far from the motohome area. The booking system needs some attention. We rang to make a booking as we had no Internet and were told we had to book through web, so struggled to book a place.
We betaalden £23 zonder elektriciteit. De camping ligt mooi aan zee, maar dat betekent ook veel wind. Echt vreselijk zijn de pincodes op de deuren van de toiletten. Effe snel naar de wc gaan was er niet bij. De mannen pincode werkte soms niet waardoor er regelmatig mannen naar de vrouwen wc gingen bij hoge nood. Iemand was zelfs te laat, waardoor het heel vies was op het vrouwen toilet/douche.
Wunderschöne Aussicht vom Wohnmobil auf das Meer, saubere Sanitäranlage, sehr gepflegter Platz. Schöner Spazierweg an der Küste oder in eine kleine Bucht.
Als je eenmaal voorbij de stacaravans bent, kom je bij de kampeerplekken die een prachtig uitzicht hebben over zee en richting de ruïne. Sanitair splinternieuw en brandschoon. De wandeling over de kliffen naar het dorp is superleuk. Terras van Crown Hotel een aanrader!
Dog policy worth checking beforehand. Staffordshire Bull Terriers, one of the friendliest and popular breeds of dog around, are not permitted. Very out of touch.
Stayed here for 1 night. Really helpful staff. Stunning views. Well maintained grounds and toilets. We will most definitely be back with the kids.
Super camping. un accueil formidable. une vue incroyable et un prix abordable. Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps si nous avions pu.

We booked two days ago, told us we would have an envelop waiting for us. Once arrived, no envelop nobody answering the phone(called 6 time in 1h) or email, nobody at the reception, so we had to find another spot in the evening. Really not cool, not professional

Wat een heerlijke plek om te staan, vlakbij het oude castle en je loopt zo naar het dorpje. Je loopt ook zo naar het strandje toe waar onze kinderen lekker met steentjes konden gooien. Heb geen speeltuin verder gezien. Voor ons een aanrader.
Has everything you could need, good facilities, friendly staff, and the views are outstanding I haven't yet made the trip to meet the 'legendary' lady at Gillespie's.
Really great views of the sea & the castle. Modern shower block. Grey water, toilet emptying, tank filling. Great for walking into Port Patrick where there are good eating places & free large car park too
Hier würde ich auch 10 Sterne geben - super hilfsbereit, neue und saubere Sanitäranlagen und der Ausblick aus der ersten Reihe auf Nordirland! Gras / non Elektrik aktuell 18£. Es gibt auch Plätze mit Strom weiter hinten. Portpatrick ist über den Klippenweg in 10 Min zu erreichen. Bei schönem Wetter wirklich mega!
On our travels round swc we stayed for two knights what a place 1/2 mile walk in to the village with some stunning views and great walks staff are very friendly and everyone you walked past said hi and morning friendly site and we are planning on coming back.
Was für ein Blick! Mittlerweile sind auch die Sanitäranlagen komplett neu, komfortabel und sauber. Wir waren fast allein mit unserem Campervan. Ansonsten stehen dort hauptsächlich stationäre Ferien-Mobilehomes. Es war super entspannt und ruhig. Bis jetzt noch wenig Plätze mit Strom. Wird aber gerade ausgebaut. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Nice little park, the pitches at the end have amazing views. The non-electric field has better views than a lot of the electric pitches. Shower block dated but clean and appeared to be a new block being built. Great motorhome service point to empty grey waste, full water and empty bins all at same times
Great place, Great site ! We too got pitch 38 fantastic views over to Mourne Mountians and Ireland. Short walk to Portpatrick a gem village
Great campsite in a lovely location actually stayed 2 nights. Give me pitch 38 right in front of the castle, great walks in the area along the cost and Port Patrick well worth a visit.
Really good campsite and a good pit stop for shower and water. Beautiful location with an amazing view of the castle if you get the right pitch. Really flat pitches and electric hookup. £18 per van plus £1 per dog. We had two dogs which was allowed not sure of their maximum. Really great campsite. Toilets are nice and clean. Showers were good. Had to turn them all the way round for hot water which was odd but I cant complain as the water wasnt cold and I’ve had a lot worse showers in campsites!!! Would recommend / stay again.
Schöner Platz direkt gegenüber der Ruine. Wundervoller Blick, ruhige Lage. Sehr nettes Personal - Schotten eben. Ja, die Sanitäranlagen sind etwas älter, aber sauber.
Sehr schöner Platz! Duschen und Toiletten etwas älter aber ok! Sehr freundliches Personal! 24£ für 2 E + 2 K incl Wowa und Strom! Toller Blick auf die Ruine und schöner kurzer Fußweg ins Dorf an den Klippen entlang! Daumen hoch für diesen Platz.
July 2019, arrived late, reception closes at 5pm, envelope for late arrivals. Very nice and green, views across the sea, touring area at the cliffs behind the permanent holiday homes (don’t let yourself be detered and follow through to the end!) Toilets clean, basic.
