Very calm beach. Just surfers up to 22h great for one night. Beautiful sunset. We passed a big motorhome without worry, just go slowly on the pebbles.

Abgelegener Surfstrand.

A stunning spot with the sea so close! I definitely wouldn't say there when there are huge waves or when it's windy but when it is calm it's a spot that makes you fall in love with vanlife all over again. There is a tap there. No toilets in October. Very busy with surfers but quiet at night

  • 4/5

Beautiful beach, no toilets when we were there. Think they are seasonal portaloos with the surf school.

  • 5/5

what a magnificent beach, clean and endless white sand. What a place this would be to sleep over, we only stopped for a walk and break. Fantastic view and wonderful stop by the sea. Highly recommend

  • 5/5

Stayed for the day but could have easily stayed for the night:) tight road to the beach but loads of room when you get down!

  • 5/5

Great spot to spend the night and go surfing. Tap to get water and shower to rinse off the salt after being in the sea.

  • 5/5

Here now with just two other vans. Big car park next to beach, clean fully equipped chem loos. Quiet, apart from the surf. No height bar.

  • 5/5

Fantastic! Carrownisky Strand has to be one of the finest beaches on the west coast. Plenty of level parking. Water and clean portable toilets (with paper). Great fun watching the surfers and kite surfers riding the waves. Access is fine, even for our 8m motorhome. Good 5G.

  • 5/5

brilliant beach. surfers add to if it your a photographer. pointing west so fabulous sunsets .no barrier but narrow road with plenty of pull in areas to allow traffic past

  • 5/5

I was the only one here last night. Busy on & off through the day with surfers and walkers. No toilets and the water tap is push button with no screw connection

  • 5/5

Best spot I’ve stayed in Ireland, the sunset was unbelievable, flat concrete slabs were level, easy road in and out as well as running water and slightly chilly shower!

  • 5/5

Beautiful quiet location! No barriers…narrow access, solid stoney carpark slightly above the beach!

  • 5/5

Beautiful beach, portaloos, quiet in September apart from surfers! No signs that say campers not allowed that we saw.

  • 5/5

Traumstrand, herrlich zum spazieren mit Hund. Vorn das Meer, hinten die Kühe. Natur pur, was will man mehr

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Beautiful beach area with the carpark elavated to give amazing view. The only noise we had was the roar of the waves. Other cars, campervans here. Roads narrow to get here, but we managed in 3.5 mercedes sprinter, an lots of room to park it. Glorious sunset & beautiful views of mountains to the rear. Dogs welcome too.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot to spend the night. Amazing sunset night we stayed Nice watching the surfers No height restrictions or barriers

  • 5/5

Toller Sonnenuntergang

  • 5/5

What a superb spot!! Watch the surfers or the waves all day, walk on the sandy beach. Toilets, fresh water and cold showers on the beach.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

here in early October and no surf place here now...large cobbled parking area at the end of a tight road and very exposed if its windy which it was...still slept well listening to the wind and rain

  • 5/5

Super plage, propre, immense, sable fin.

  • 5/5

Beautiful Beach, regional road until turn for beach than its a narrow 1 vehicle road! only for about 5 min. But manageable as plenty houses on way so you can pull in or vice versa. Beach is stoney but flat enough for parking. There was lifeguards on duty also. Remote enough so peaceful and calming listening to the waves.

  • 4/5

Beautiful spot by the beach , plenty of room no restrictions and toilets

  • 5/5

Spent a lovely night here, fabulous sunset but got dined on by midges! very friendly local surfers. Had a lovely swim in the morning. My favourite place so far!(apart from the midges)

  • 5/5

Perfect beach park up. Lots of space even for big moho’s. We didn’t need levelling ramps. Fresh water tap and shower. Toilets. No bins. Great sunset and vast sandy beach. It was ideal.

  • 4/5

Stopped for lunch, shower and tap but no toilets. Walking about on the stones not much fun but would be fine if your priority was swim/surf

  • 5/5

WC cabine. Eau disponible.

  • 5/5

Fantastic spot. A busy surfing beach which has people arriving from early morning right up to 10pm. Tide is close to shore and u park up on beach. toilets and water available. I think there was a cold shower too.

  • 5/5

Excellent park up. We’ve stayed a couple of times. Single track access road. Beach is mainly used by surfers. Feels safe, usually other vans there. Water tap and porta loos.

  • 5/5

Lovely place to park up, the sea is on your doorstep, lots of other vans here. Narrow road leading down to it, but worth the journey down.

  • 5/5

Beautiful beach, at high tide waves crushing right in front of the van :)

  • 5/5

Great location on the beach, clean porta loos and water available locals use for surfing lovely to hear the sea

  • 5/5

A lovely stretch of beach, with a fabulous sunset and a peaceful night. A brilliant spot.

  • 5/5

  • 3/5

We decided not to stay as it was exceptionally windy! However, the beach is beautiful. Parking felt safe on the pebbles. Water tap in November but no toilets.

  • 5/5

Fantastic place to spend a night with the roar of the Atlantic to lull you to sleep. Plenty of parking places, friendly surfers, toilets and a water tap.

  • 4/5

Super emplacement. Top top top.

  • 5/5

Excellent small pebble car park right on the Beach. Toilets, cold shower (low pressure) and drinking water available. Kite right by your van in brilliant waves, what else you want! Keep in mind there is no wind shelter.

  • 4/5

Amazing place. Views of Clare Island and Inisturk. The sunsets are stunning. Highly recommended

  • 1/5

Incredibly busy car park. Not a place for relaxing and got blocked in.

  • 5/5

Good place for 5-7 campers. Long beach for a walk , near is few lakes for a fishing. Best place for surfing.

  • 5/5

Excellent site and the peddles are level

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Good acces with our Adria of 8m. Awesome place at the beach. Perfect for surf. With toilets.

  • 5/5

Stayed here 2 nights, plenty of room on top of stone bank. In a 7.5 meter, road narrow and tricky coming in from the North although possible with care. Top surfing beach when on.

  • 5/5

Parking sur la dune de galets.

  • 4/5
