Agreed with everyone this is a good place to park up

Wir hatten ebenfalls eine sehr ruhige Nacht und haben mit unserem sehr grossen WoMo (7.20x2.50x3.60) sehr gut gestanden. Direkt am Wald/Park - eine Freude für Hunde und ihre Besitzer. Sehr nette Spaziergänger getroffen. Die M6 hört man in der Ferne. Es ist aber in der Tat etwas suspekt und verstörend, dass Bilder junger Frauen mit Blumen dort hängen :/ Wir haben davor geparkt und sie ignoriert.

Me and the mrs had a brilliant night, quiet, level & undisturbed and very easy to locate from the Longsands Lane roundabout We couldn't believe how peaceful the spot was; it was completely silent all night, despite being a 3 minute drive back to the m6 There was only one other van there, leaving plenty of space. It's the perfect location for a quiet night's sleep, plenty of bins and plain signal

Maybe its at the end of street, quiet and near the park, but that memorable place with photos of young women who probably died here. For me it was too much, I go to the other place. Definitelly for people who doesnt care about that kind of things.

A very quiet small car park. just off the M6. There is only a small amount of background traffic noise from the motorway. only enough room for five or so vans. I could not find a water tap. Turn right out of the car park and walk 10 minutes to the village shops, including a bakery which opens early.

Sicherlich kein schlechter Platz. Allerdings wurde eine Art Gedenkstätte mit dem Bild von einem Mädchen dort errichtet, zusammen mit einer Art Kasten, der auch als Grab durchgehen könnte... Fanden wir suspekt und gruselig und sind deswegen weitergefahren.

Lovely little spot, very quiet - close to the motorway but couldn’t hear the road at all. 5 other camper vans/motorhomes already parked up there by the time we arrived (9:30pm) but just enough space for us & everyone was very courteous and considerate. 2 other campers arrived after us but there wasn’t room for them, so worth having a back up location in case this place is full as seems popular.

Proche de la M6. Facile à accéder, même pour un CC de 7 m, un endroit super pour y faire escale. Nuit très calme. Deux autres van sont arrivés autour des 22 h pour la nuit. 5 * méritées !

Minutes from the m6 but so quiet! What a great location, stayed here on a whim coming up from the south and had a very spacious car park, with a lovely walk for the evening just a few mins drive from the m6. undisturbed sleep. Brill little parkup!

Hidden gem. Minutes from the motorway but you wouldn't know it. Roomy car park with room for several vans, great nature walk for the dogs who loved to paddle in the stream. Despite only being minutes from the motorway the spot was quiet at night, with no disruptions and only one other van present. The path opens up and there are picnic benches etc.

Brilliant stopover minutes from the m6 bins, lovely walks through a nature reserve. Silent at night, being down a quiet road away from any traffic it makes a great stopover location. Huge amount of wildlife in the nature reserve with picnic benches, bins etc. Hardstanding with no height restrictions, Great signal and easily accommodated us and another van with plenty of space left to spare. Great stopover to avoid congestion. Very quiet in the evening and lovely to walk the dog in the morning through the nature reserve. Great night's sleep with no disturbances. 100% Recommend

Not suitable for motorhomes 7m+ unless pretty much empty, very small, two campers and car already there, nowhere for us to go or turnaround so had to back out. Easy to get to off motorway down a very quiet road, entrance is just before bollards across the road, plenty of space to park down the road away from houses so we parked there instead.

Easy to locate from the motorway, Spacious, level Tarmac stopover, with bins & Great signal. Lovely little nature reserve, quiet, and only minutes from the M6. Would recommend! Very quiet at night as the road has a divider, so it can't be used as a cut through.

lovely nature in the nature reserves, make sure to access from near the LR/jag dealership. Undisturbed at night, friendly locals. Hardstanding & Level, easily fit our 7.9m overcab. Minutes from the m6 perfect to break up the journey

Two complicated traffic island to negotiate getting here. The ground is level and there is no water except in a stream and not seen a bin even when I walked into the woodland which is lovely.

stayed here overnight on the way up the m6, <5mins from motorway, arrived 1am and no one else there, nice dog walk in morning some broken glass in carpark but seemed a nice area!

lovely quiet spot for an overnight stopover close to M6. locally known as Sandy Brook Wood. difficult to find. Google Maps takes you the wrong end of Fulwood Row. Easily found from the large roundabout with RangeRover dealership. photos attached.

Es una zona muy tranquila y cerca de la autopista. Ideal para descansar durante la ruta. Eso si, el suelo hace mucha pendiente y solo caben 3 o 4 autocaravanas.

Whoever thinks this site is level needs glasses. Having said that very quiet and no internet connection (at least when we were there).

Stayed here for one night, it’s very close to M6 so handy for a stop over, neither myself or partner had any signal or 4g but was very quiet and had a peaceful night. No height barrier and enough room for 4/5 vans. We were the only ones there!

Stayed for 1 night and was reasonably peaceful. Had a couple of other motorhomes turn up late on. Gets busy with dog walkers in the morning.

Stayed here last night, only a few minutes from the motorway. it was lovely and peaceful and we had a lovely morning walk through the nature reserve Silent at night, great spot!!

Stayed on a Tuesday night, peaceful until about 4am when two guys banged on the side of the van and chatter about wondering if someone was in. I assume just chancers as they left once no one appeared at the window and they heard the dog barking, but didn't stick around to see. Otherwise good quiet location not far from M6.

We had a lovely stay here on Friday and it was silent. Hardstanding car park, easily fit our 7m van, 5 minutes drive to the motorway (its so quiet you'd think you were 50 miles away). Bins. great 4g/5g.

Sehr ruhige Übernachtungs Möglichkeit! Für die Durchreise sehr zu empfehlen! Nahe der Autobahn, 5 Minuten Autofahrt!

We took our 7m overcab motorhome here for a night, it was perfect, just off the M6 and a lovely little walk around a nature reserve in the morning very quiet place, perfect for a night on the way up to Scotland from the south

Our favourite location yet, absolutely silent at night, easy to park, easy to access (straight off and back on the motorway within 3 mins) and beautiful scenic walks in the morning. 100% recommend.

Absolutely beautiful stay, easy to find (make sure to come from Longsands not watling St Road, it's lovely and quiet. Please be courteous and remember it's a nature reserve. Beautiful walks in the morning, and. a perfects night sleep.
