Great stop over few other vans there felt safe and very few cars passing during the night toilets were locked when I got there at 3.30 but were open before 8.30am

Great park up. Free this time of year. Not difficult to find a level spot around the odd pot hole. A little traffic every now and again but not a bother at all - in windy weather the flag poles are more annoying than the cars. Felt safe alone. Multiple bins. No view. I didn’t notice any weight restrictions, some of the incoming lanes have a width restriction and there is a low 3.5m bridge.

Currently staying here now! A few cars late night but, for a free parking spot large enough for a van is magical. Great for a night cap and evening out. Free from 4pm until 10am. £1.60 if staying for the day! Smashing.

I stayed here last night, it’s a good spot, there’s loads of space, and it’s free overnight. 10am - 4pm you have to pay - £1.60 to the right of the signs! (Apparently slightly more to the left..!) The sea is just the other side of a bank, I could hear it and it was lovely. Unfortunately by morning the tide had gone out a long long way! I had breakfast at the cafe, it was very good.

Was a great place, quiet, really right behind the dike with a great walk along the beach, cafe right opposite. We did not see the sign of “cars and light goods vehicles only” as they are placed at great intervals. Now waiting whether we get a ticket, cross fingers. We paid the 1.80£ for parking. Just across the road a small motorhome parking for 4 vehicles is build. Should have electricity etc.

FREE PARKING Oct-APRIL. Toilets available. Great for cockling and views of Isle of Sheppy, brink a pitch fork and s bucket and go seek the cockles seasalter is famous for. Enjoy the view and smell of the sea

    Très bien!!

Great quiet place to stay. Best just beyond sailing club as widest there. Stayed 1 night there with no problems.

  • 4/5

Paying machines on most of the place till 4pm, free place on other side of sail club building.

my go to park up in this area, beach is always quiet and the water so still, wind farm off in the distance provides pleasant night scenery, toilets are locked at around 5pm and opened again around 7am, disabled is accessible 24hrs via a key, road is extremely quiet at night time. stayed here for two weeks with no issue

good spot with plenty of parking. not to many flat spaces as there are many dips. close to the beach and seems to be free. we stayed overnight and didn't leave until 2pm the next day with no charge or problems. some disadvantages are that cars drive past quite fast which is noisy and it gets quite busy in the day with dog walkers. despite that we would recommend

Nice location by the coast. Mostly quiet, but due to the long, very smooth road cars do like to whizz past. Nearby toilet that closes at 8pm. Lovely Cafe at seasalter holiday park, a tad pricey but lovely food. Beach isn't suitable for swimming but a nice walk with good views. 4% of the population can hear the global "Hum", and I'm one of the 4% and heard it here.

Great park up near the sea. Toilet building too.

Love this place great views nice to chat to locals & watching some kite flyers was a great experience very roomy does have payment machines but well worth staying overnight small shop and cafe open daily a couple of Pubs within walking distance parked along the side a bit of traffic nothing major during the night

  • 2/5

Nice view, a lot of space. Next to the road. There is a public toilet! Free between 4 pm and 10 am

  • 3/5

Unfortunately now paid parking. Not sure how strictly it is monitored. The road is noisy and some late night activities can be heard. But a good easy spot to park. Nice little cafe.

  • 4/5

Used a few times now occasional car but quiet after midnight Nice walk along beach over sea wall and cafe and toilets when open

  • 4/5

Quiet spot, free for 12 hours. plenty of space, only one other van when I was ther. No amenities there but set just off the a quiet road so ideal and had a very restful night.

  • 4/5

Lovely spot to overnight. We used it to visit Tankerton and Whitstable. Road can be a bit noisy but overall not too bad.

  • 5/5

Quiet spot on the beach front

  • 5/5

Great beachside spot! Toilets open 8am-4pm (at least they were when we stayed in mid-April). Quiet with a few cars at night but plenty of families and dog walkers on sunny days. Lovely walk along the coast and the pub is meant to be amazing for food, but was shut until May for covid when we stayed.

  • 4/5

Nice safe stop. Plenty of space. The cafe and shop were shut for the winter and the public toilets were also shut. Good walks along sea wall. Not far from Whitstable.

  • 5/5

Great spot had 2 nights, no-one bothered left as we found, toilets open as well...

  • 4/5

Great Spot, no trouble. Met one guy who had been living there for 6 months in his van and he had never been moved on. Toilets were clean.

Spent the night here in my 7m Motorhome and had to park it parallel to the road as nearly touched the road. The evening passed with incident and the gentle rocking of my motorhome by the sea wind sent me to asleep. I woke up made a cup of tea and sat on the beach. The shop was open at 9am and had some essential basic supplies. The cafe next door was open then although I didn’t savour any thing of its menu. Traffic on a Saturday from around midnight was sparse although cars passing fast - there was one boy racer who bombed up and down once - made my motorhome sway.

Nuit relativement calme, mais réveil assez brusque à cause d'un chantier et du trafic qui redémarre tôt. Boules Quies conseillées...

  • 4/5

Stayed for one night. A bit of noise from the road in the evening but very few cars at night. Right next to the beach, good place for a bbq.

Stayed for one night, very calm and safe. 2 other campers but it's planty of space! Garbage option right next to the stairs up on the ridge. I will definitely go there again :)
