Great spot for being in a town. Some noise at night which was expected. Very cheap parking during the day with great access to the town and the waterbus

  • 5/5

Loads of campers, close to town - seafood chowder at the castle pub is to die for. Great spot for a quick stopover.

  • 4/5

Great parking area for motorhomes. It gets busy so arrive early. Shame there are no facilities for water or waste.

  • 5/5

great place over 12 campers parked ,futher on 5 more spaces ,no height barrier right on water's edge ,easy walk to town ,no service"s 30cent an hour 9.30 / 6.00 pm

  • 5/5

Great stop over for the night, free after 6pm till 9am next day. 30c per hour during the day, lots of room and within walking distance g distance to town centre.

  • 5/5

A great spot for a quiet overnight stay. Free between 6pm - 9am and no charge on a Sunday. Close to the town, but no other services onsite.

  • 5/5

Quiet parking at night. Leveled and for free from 6:30pm to 8am.

  • 5/5

Nice spot to spend the night. Lots of space, better to park at the far end of car park. This morning I counted 19 vans had spent the night. Short walk into small town square with pubs, restaurants and cafes. Had a safe peaceful night. No facilities. Would recommend if you don’t need any services.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Great place to park, very quiet, ideal for a short walk into the town. No problems, other campers there. very good spot at a really good price, charges applicable from 9am to 6pm and then free

  • 5/5

  • 3/5

Bit of a traffic jam in the town but eventually got to this park-up. Found similar congestion as cars and vans circled the car park looking to dive into the first available space. Triumphed by bagging a spot next to the Dragon Boat cabin but didn't see any dedicated van spaces. It did what we needed it to but it wasn't a quiet night with people returning noisily, late from pubs etc. OK spot.

  • 5/5

Great spot for the town. Huge car park. It got pretty full early on by 4pm with vans and large motorhomes. Cheap and bins. Toilets further into the town. Even though it was full it was a very quiet night. Recommend it.

  • 5/5

Stayed here for 1 night and found it very peaceful. Plenty of parking spaces and right on top of the town- for quick access.

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

easy to locate. free overnight parking after 6pm and before 9am. 50c per hour during 9am - 6pm quiet night. loads of vans and motorhomes. very friendly The town centre is lovely and lively with live music on. we highly recommend the chandpur restaurant no toilets bins in the car park does get busy, however it was a Friday night and the weather was amazing during our park up

  • 3/5

  • 3/5

nice town, car park plenty of spaces, short walk from the town, plenty pubs and restaurants, couple of nice walks, unfortunately No amenities for motorhomes, I.e. water or anywhere to empty waste, lacking in bins along the river bank

  • 5/5

Stayed here 1 night, costs €2.70 for full day, free on Sundays. At the very end there is 4 Motorhome bays (opposite the bus bays) but in the main carpark there were at least a dozen other vans parked up. Lively town within a few minutes walk for bars/restaurants etc. We’ll definitely be back.

  • 5/5

As good as you will get. Parked for the whole day and night. €2.70. Close to the town, filled with water at the Cicle K station at the roundabout for Kilkybegs. If you want a lay on in the morning just get a ticket again before bed time. Spoke with traffic Warden this was his advise. Few cars up and down during the night, but pubs close and aldi, all within walking distance.

  • 3/5

Maybe close to the town and being a Saturday night traffic going in and out till the early hours. Alarms going off at irregular hours during the night. I understand that it's cheap but really tight for parking.

  • 5/5

very busy the weekend when we were there as there was a show on in town. flat car park, great location for cafes, pubs, shops, supermarket & restaurants. lots of spaces.

  • 4/5

Stayed here for one night, we stayed on Sunday so it was free but normally 30c per hour to park. Very noisy with trucks coming past early but slept okay. Close to city centre so can leave vehicle for the day and walk in

  • 2/5

  • 5/5

On a wet evening 15 vans were all responsible parked in the Quey Street carpark over looking the river. Tourists office next to carpark and were very helpful. Short walk to centre. Traditional Irish music in two pubs on the evening we were there.

  • 5/5

Excellent place to stay over, parking charges only apply between 9am and 6pm. Very handy for the many pubs which all advertise live music every night. We went in "The Reel" which also had some traditional Irish dancing, wonderful night. 13/8/24

  • 4/5

Works OK. Handy location for the town. Free Sundays, and 6pm-9am. There is no designated spaces for Motorhomes, only designated spots are for coaches / minibuses and there are lots of them. Most vans parked halfway down on the left where there are no bays. Or in spots on right, though overhanging path. Seems to be drug dealing at night down the far end. Otherwise no issues. Some bins

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Comodo e ampio parcheggio vicino al paese molto carino.

  • 5/5

Quiet spot for an overnight stay, parking meter during the day but only 30 cents an hour, good for visiting the shops and pubs in the town. Think there are 4 dedicated motorhome spaces but on the night we stayed there were 17 vans there!

  • 4/5

Lots of parking spots for campers at the end of the lot. Several campers and motorhomes around. Parking charges Monday-Saturday 9-6pm very cheap. Great location for accessing Donegal centre.

  • 3/5

  • 4/5

Great location in centre of Donegal near bars and restaurants. Free parking overnight and public Wi-Fi available if staying at the side of the carpark nearest the town. No facilities and public toilets close before 6pm, Lidl & Service station nearby with public toilets open until 9pm ish. Flat and relatively quiet, stayed on a weekend and had no issues.

  • 5/5

Note Closes at 9pm 25th June for a festival. Closed until after weekend

  • 5/5

This place is perfect to park any size campervans...right in the centre of Donegal for pubs restaurants and shops...30 cent an hour from 9am until 6pm then free to park overnight...it was quiet too for sleeping through the night

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Brilliant for campervans/motorhome park up on the left hand side at the rear. Also have bins. Far better than the other car park.Prices are correct 30 cents an hour. Donegal nice town.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Sehr schöner Platz. Stadtcentrum in unmittelbarer Nähe. Danke

  • 3/5

Only cost €1 as arrived around dinner time but 6pm-9am free. Only takes coins (not cards). Flat carpark right next to the waterboat/pier/river. A few campers and buses but plenty of space. Town centre minutes away to walk. Lots of car activity on a Tuesday evening/night. Back and forth, in and out despite a Garda station opposite??? Felt safe enough though.

  • 3/5

Saturday Night- Noisy until 3AM with boy (or girl) racers using the bottom of the car park as a drag strip. A few speed bumps would solve this !

  • 5/5

Pay & Display carpark. €0.30/hr between 9am-6pm. Free on Sundays. Parking can be paid online also which is handy because I had no change on me. The lower half of this car park is all for Camper parking. It is right in the heart of Donegal Town so it really is ideal for parking up and going for a few drinks. We parked up at 3pm on a Saturday so only had to pay €1 for the night.

  • 4/5

No bother plenty of vans just paid the parking fee
