When we arrived, we had an angry lady who lives in the property next to the carpark. Told us it was illegal to park there! There are mixed responses to a google search. but it all boils down to the fact that there is no restriction signage. it was very noisy as a couple of car loads of youngsters decided to have a meet-up there at 11pm to just after 12. Good for dog walks and a quick cuppa.

As others have stated, it's a small car park used by runners and walkers along the old railway line and canal. I couldn't get in initially so parked and visited the garden centre down the road. There were a couple of cars arriving late at night; then many people arriving from 6.30 / 7am on Sunday morning. It's quiet enough to sleep, but with traffic passing so you don't feel too remote.

A great park up, I arrived late at 10:30 and the car park was empty, however people started to arrive early dog walking, and the car park was full. But if you’re an early riser, it’s not a problem if you want to lie in it may be a problem.

Seemed like a really good stop, we had settled in for the night when we had a couple of loud knocks on the door and then window at 10pm. We ignored them and then they were sat in their car parked a little way away. We didn't really feel safe staying afterwards to sleep so moved on. Thought it was a bit too close to the road to be a dogging spot but possibly it's not,

Great spot. quiet at night, busy during the day. lots of dog walkers, for walk along and old rail track. traffic noise untill quite late, generally flat, and room for a couple of vans. we are 6ms and it was fine. we left early to make room for locals.

All good, no facilities other then a bin. well shaded area under trees. Quiet when I arrived about 9pm, just one other vehicle. in the morning was much busier, lots of cars, dog walkers and runners but wasn't much disturbed. 4g was a bit hit and miss. no problems for overnight stay.

Nice little spot but can get busy in the day with walkers and cyclists. We initially parked in one of the spots but was way too slanted so waited until dark and parked parallel with the bushes so people could get out and also helped mask the road noise. Lovely walk up the old railway and access into Abergavenny by foot. Waitrose nearby too.

Nice spot, slight slant but not enough to cause discomfort. Main road is behind but quietens down after 10pm. Few random cars but no issue. We’ll come back here for sure!
