loverly place. it was a little tight for me but it was my fault as size of my camper but i moved around to help the locals going for walks and they were all friendly. if you go for a walk up the trail make sure you got some good shoes as it’s very steep in parts. silent night no hassles at all. good EE 4g signal. no bins tho and it was clean.
spent a quiet night here a few months ago and planning to go again tonight.
really peaceful little spot, spent the night (wednesday) alone. Wouldn't advise any more than 3 vans/campers so as not to interfer with/upset the local users. no bin so take your rubbish with you.
might be nice but we left again as people in cars smoking weed did not entice us to stay.
We stayed here on a Saturday evening, lovely quiet spot well sheltered from weather definitely recommend, steep paths to monument but amazing views.
Stayed here for 1 night. Lovely park up. No amenities at all. nice walks on your doorstep and not busy at all expect for occasional dog walkers.
Leuk rustig overnachtingsplaatsje om morgen aircraft- en motor-museum te doen. Jammer dat sommige buurtbewoners er hun tuinafval en grasmaaisel komen dumpen, trekt insecten aan. Camper max 7 m, anders draaiproblemen
Stayed alone overnight. A few locals came in the evening and morning to walk their dogs and walk up to the monument, and you can hear the road traffic a little bit, but overall, we spent a peaceful night surrounded by nature. It's a lovely hidden spot where you're not exposed to the wind and sunset through the trees was magical.
6 campers is wel iets te veel maar 3 kan goed omdat de lokale bevolking hier ook komt. Wel rustige plek om te overnachten.
Really nice little park up; was very quiet for us on a weekday night. There are currently roadworks on the main road to it but if you follow the diversion it takes you to the other side of the road- it is still accessible as of 9/09/2024
