It’s OK and does the job but the road is really busy! You are far enough back so you don’t feel passing cars but you can definitely hear them. About midnight a car of young lads pulled up and messed about making stupid noises. Not dangerous but not sure I’d want to be there alone!
Happened to still be awake about 0030, heard a thump, husband peeked out to 3/4 guys with headlights shining into our camper. Not safe. Moved immediately.
Very noisy but does allow a safe area to park for a night.
Für eine Zwischenübernachtung gut. Es stehen dort einige Lkw für die Nacht, aber der Platz reicht trotzdem für mehrere Womo. Es gibt 2 Mülleimer und der Einkaufsladen ist nur 1 Minute Fahrzeit entfernt.
A handy easy night stop if travelling through. A bit wet and muddy if raining and yes the traffic noise in the morning but fairly quiet at night.
Big area to park in and pretty flat. It's very close to a main road though. We stayed overnight Easter Sunday/Bank Holiday Monday and the traffic going past, particularly tractors, was pretty much continuous. I imagine during harvest the tractor traffic will be much worse. Alright in a pinch but not if you want peace and quiet.
I live in the village and while the carpark is a good place to stay overnight, please be careful in heavy rain in the winter months. The river has closed the road three times already this month. (Jan 24) Other then that a lovely spot
