Stayed in Feb and it was absolutely gorgeous. Very windy on this night and it is exposed to the elements. Stunning views. 3 bars and 4G on EE. Very few cars passed at night and had no issues in a stealthy van.
Espace jusqu'à 4 campeurs. Vue imprenable. C'est une route B… pas trop bruyante. Aucun signe de restriction pour passer la nuit.

bigblackt625/01/2026Stayed 1 night with no problems. Good phone signal with 3 and o2. Woke up to beautiful views. Layby is deep enough that I did not get any van shaking from passing cars. Layby also felt flat and level to me.
bigfatfrog6720/10/2025Stayed last night, excellent spot, only person there. The road during the day is quite busy and traffic is moving quite fast. At night virtually nothing but the odd boy racer going past loud and fast.

Incredible views! A nice wide/deep lay by so you can reverse up and enjoy the views. Hardly any cars passing after 8pm, and didn’t hear a single one after 10pm. Felt very safe.

Nice spot with a good view, no signs for restrictions. Just a gravel deep set layby. Had good phone signal (3 network). No disturbances overnight other than the odd horn pusher.

Still a beautiful, quiet spot. Small amount of passing traffic but nothing to worry about unless you have roaming toddlers or a dog! We spent a very peaceful night here on our way to the West Coast.

Incredible views, quiet road, space for 4/5 vans. Also a few smaller spots along this road with space for 1 or 2 vans. Had it all to myself for the evening. Thunderstorms, beautiful clouds and a rainbow.

A spot with a view!!!!! Wat een uitzicht hier. Redelijk vlak, wel langs doorgaande weg, maar die is redelijk rustig en waarschijnlijk vannacht gewoon erg rustig.

Fantastic evening, dark and lovely. Close to the road so there is noise from passing cars. However I had a great night sleep with Cariad Y Ci and what a view to wake up to!

Small layby on good B road. Tremendous view over Llangattock to Sugar Loaf and the North. Fairly level. Generally quieter road. Nothing in the night just started about 6am. Shared with 2 others on Good Friday night. Great walk along Craig y Cilau nature reserve. No litter at all.

Amazing view from this fairly level, hard-standing lay-by. It’s a few metres from the road so doesn’t feel too unsafe. The road is fairly quiet, even in the day (we did go in the week though). Marked down a star as there is so much litter there! Such a shame, considering there are wild ponies around. Please take litter with you!
