This is an expensive site at £35 a night. The basic facilities do not reflect the cost. Hosts were not particularly friendly or helpful and the site is next to a noisy busy main road. Only bonus was the fabulous pub next door which was welcoming and served amazing food.
Site looks ok with hard standings offering lovely views but right next to a busy main road. Not the warmest of welcomes. They wanted £17 in addition to the pitch fee for Electric hook up making it £35 for a night. our batteries were not working so needed EHU but this was too much for us so we left.
an absolute steal £17 for 2 people in a campervan on a hard standing pitch without ehu. the site looks like it's having a bit of updating. but still clean and tidy.
We paid £17 for 2 of us, no pets, no electricity. The site isn’t fancy, but clean and well maintained with clean and functioning toilets & showers. Great views, and very peaceful. I think we are the only ones here tonight. Oh, and there’s a pub as you enter the site - we didn’t visit, but looked very nice.
This campsite has beautiful views; is a short walk to the picturesque reservoir, and right next to a pub! It's currently undergoing some building works to improve the facilities and once that's done, I'm sure it's going to be fabulous. At the minute, the black water waste area looks like something out of a horror film! The owner is friendly and helpful and the whole stay was quite pleasant!
Camping minimal e senza indicazioni dalla strada. prenotare dal sito per poter pagare con carta, sennò è possibile pagare in contanti dai proprietari, ma i prezzi non sono uguali a quelli indicati sul sito.
