brilliant over night stop , very handy just off A30, 24hr toilets in carpark and well stocked 24hr BP garage. highly recommend the breakfast wrap from the Whitehouse restaurant which is also in the carpark round the back of the BP station

very good stopover. well stocked shop in the garage. nice cafe next to car park. would definitely stop here again. toilet in the cafe while open and in garage shop. extra toilets by car park were closed when we got there but were unlocked at 8am. clean toilets.

Arrived at 9pm busy but plenty of places to park - can here road noise but that is fine - toilet closed in carpark - I think it opens at 8am - great clean stop over place

Stayed here overnight — arrived around 11:30 pm and found plenty of spaces available. The area was clean, quiet, and conveniently located without taking us far off our route. In the morning, there was a lovely restaurant nearby offering a great takeaway breakfast. Will use again.

Easy to use services. The Whitehouse restaurant (staff were really friendly) is metres away and has a takeaway with sweets, ice cream, sandwiches & hot pasties. Nearest toilets are in a mobile with warm running water. Staff litter-picked which was nice and explains why it was so clean and tidy on arrival. Would come back here.

This place ticks a lot of boxes. Quiet, flat, loads of space, well lit, 24 hour shop and toilets.

Stayed here a couple of nights ago for 1 night. As you would expect during August, very busy. No one bothered me. A very good place to stop for a night. Felt safe.

Perfect place for 1-2 nights , lovely shop .

Cannot rate this place highly enough, wasn't planned but spent a good few days here in the sunshine because you cannot fault the facilities of clean 24hr toilets (garage and restaurant), flat parking and plenty of it, plenty of bins emptied regularly, supermarket/garage selling pretty much everything including fresh baked goods daily. Takeaway prices reasonable from restaurant 8am-5pm.

Huge free carpark, 24h garage with huge selection of pretty much everything food snack and fresh produce. cash machine washing and drier machines, car wash and jet wash. Stayed here a few times now, recommended.

Large carpark at back of garage , but road noise was constant and woke several times. I’m only in micro camper currently so other vans might not hear the road noise as much. However service shop is 24 hour open so toilet and also restaurant opens 8am so good safe place to park up. I found the industrial estate just two minutes down the road quiet for following night I was staying in Okehampton .

Free over night parking on a well lit, flat carpark at rear of 24hr BP petrol station, very friendly staff. cafe opens at 8.00am for reasonably priced good breakfast. some traffic noise from A30 but not excessive

Arrived at 11:15pm. Great place, plenty of places to park. Background noise from the A30, but not too bad. There are portaloos on the car park, as well as toilets inside the garage shop. Free to stay.

Arrived at 9pm, well lit and easy to park. Some background noise from the busy road, but easily zoned out. Ideal free overnight stopover with shop and toilets on site

Absolutely perfect for overnight stay. Big car park. Garage with shops and toilets. We stayed two night as we we're working out where to go next. Also free

spent 2 nights sleeping here while visiting dartmoor and lydford gorge during the day. plenty of spaces here. loads of other campers staying during the night. no problem at all.. (summer holiday)

Pulled up on Wednesday night approx midnight, stayed until 10 in the morning. Big car park, well lit next to petrol station. Slept and had no issues.

A great place to get off the road at night toilets and service station open 24hrs and the cafe opens at 8.00am this cafe is excellent, very pleasant staff that can’t do enough for you and also dog friendly. Excellent.

Good stop free parking in the back.

We stayed here as a little stop before heading further on to Cornwall. The car park at the back had 6 other campers staying. It’s has a large field behind as an overflow car park - ideal to let the dog have a run around (near the road so take care). Road does have noise but didn’t bother us at all. Felt extremely safe.

a bit of road noise, but In the absence of anywhere else around Okehampton it is OK. Whitehouse cafe does an nice cooked breakfast and opens at 8am

parked up here currently, nice and level concrete parking lot. it's well lit overnight, busy road nearby but not too noisy if your motorhome is soundproof etc. 24hr bp garage, laundry machines and public toilets are all available. large grass area with clean seating, and benches to sit out in the sun Good park up, and it's free.

Free park up. Well lit car park but very noisy from the main road. Still better than a layby. BP petrol station with well stocked shop. great for overnight stop over only.

We stayed here last night as my partner was tired driving and we needed a place to take a break for the night. Arrived at around 23:00. Quiet in the night but it’s behind a really busy road so you can hear cars zooming by in the morning but it isn’t off putting. Large field opposite us and fuel station behind us is 24hrs. Recommend ⭐️
