Flumpthecamper12/08/2025Great spot, beautiful views. Lovely pub just a short walk down the round which serves top quality food. Cute cafe and shops around the windmill.
mandyandphil09/08/2025This is a beautiful site with amenities no showers but was only £20 for the night with electricity, the cafe is open 9-5 food is amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a short walk to a beautiful village pub serving real ales and fabulous food they were also child and dog friendly.
crewser3adventures03/08/2025Stayed here two nights & it was fantastic. Great value at £15 a night (without ehu). Stunning views, great windmill (free to go up), small selection of shops & cafe. Lovely walk to the church, great area for cycling & walking. Super friendly owner. Black & grey waste disposal easily accessible. Open to everyone -not just camhc members as mentioned in a previous post. Thoroughly recommend.

ElkeNehring02/09/2024Sehr schöner ruhiger Platz mit ver -und Entsorgung, und der Möglichkeit zu Essen oder Tee zu trinken..Küche bis 5 Uhr. Ansonsten in 10 min zu Fuß ein Pub. Bei der wunderbaren Aussicht sind alle Plätze in der ersten Reihe. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

toller ruhiger Stellplatz an einen historischen Mühle mit einen fantastischen Ausblick. Preis 20 Pfund inklusive electric hookup. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und der Tearoom ist auch empfehlenswert. Auch ein netten Pub ganz in der Nähe.

The view is amazing, water, WC & grey water disposal, toilets open all night, playground, windmill to visit, little woodland walk, tearooms with a good selection of cakes... and on top of that, everyone was absolutely lovely - so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We'd love to come back, it's a fabulous place for kids and only £15/night!

stayed one night with 2 daughters, was great. amazing views , nice and quiet. owner realy friendly and windmill and cafe nice touch. will be returning on next trip to rutland water

Beautiful place and relaxing. An ideal overnight stop which is what we were looking for. Septic tank may need some attention.
