Free parking on the Arno River in Florence. quiet at night. A water fountain is right next door. The entrance to the parking lot is a bit narrow and hilly, but it's worth it.
Gebührenfreier Parkplatz am Arno River in Florenz. Nachts ruhig. Ein Wasserbrunnen ist gleich nebenan. Die Einfahrt zu dem Parkplatz ist etwas eng und bergig, aber es lohnt sich.
Parcheggio gratuito sul fiume Arno a Firenze. tranquillo di notte. Una fontana è proprio accanto. L'ingresso al parcheggio è un po' stretto e collinoso, ma ne vale la pena.

It’s not easy to park there with bigger cars as entry to park is narrow and there is not much space. It’s ocupied during the night by local cars. We were lucky this time and found a spot. After season it’s a quiet space as near beach bar is closed. We stayed for one night and full day.
Good spot to park, looks a bit sketchy but lots of cars were parked and everything went fine during our day visiting. There was a caravan parked, so I guess it's okay for the night :) nice walk along the water to reach the center
great spot, right by the river! quite full with cars during the day but quiet at night. by bike to florence center in 10min
5 étoiles pour notre expérience. Parking gratuit aux portes de la ville. Plat avec un point d’eau, face au fleuve. Nous avons eu de la chance d’y trouver une place, attention fermé le 31/07 pour entretien des parties végétales. Nous n’y sommes pas resté la nuit. Environ 40minutes à pied du centre-ville.
We spent here 3 nights undisturbed. There is a night club next to it, so be prepared to the noise. You have to be lucky to find a spot, always almost full even at night. You can have shade under the trees. City center is 40 minutes on foot. For big motorhomes, I don't recommend, there is a steep and a very narrow part on the final street to get here.
parcheggio affianco al fiume, un po' difficile entrare e fare manovra. totalmente gratuito ma credo che spesso sia pieno. la strada quando piove diventa fangosa. c'è una fontanella e una panchina. non è il massimo ma per una o due notti penso possa andare bene. sono stato solo mezza giornata perché prima ero in un altro parcheggio e poi ho cambiato città
Mieliśmy zostać na jedną noc lecz zostaliśmy na trzy. Obok jest restauracja gdzie dzięki uprzejmości pracowników pozwolono nam zrzucić czarną wodę. Kamper 7,5 metra zmieścił się w widocznym na zdjęciu wjazd. W piątki i soboty w pobliskiej restauracji jest dyskoteka do ok 2 w nocy. Mieliśmy rowery przypięte z tyłu z oprzyrządowaniem. Nikt niczego nie ukradł. Daliśmy radę nawet zrobić grilla.
Tagsüber völlig okay, nachts nicht sicher. Betrunkene haben sich dort stundenlang nachts angeschrien, bis die Polizei kam. Eine Stunde später ging es erneut los. Der Mann lebt dort dauerhaft in einem Wohnmobil.
Standen hier für zwei Nächte ohne Probleme. Es gibt Wasser und bis ins Zentrum dauert es 20 min. mit dem Bus. War ein ruhiger Parkplatz aber es kommen viele Leute zum Spazieren und joggen vorbei.
Inte den vackraste platsen men med tanke på närheten till centrum funkade den super. Största nackdelen avsaknad av toalett i närheten och fanns tydliga skyltar med att ej utföra sina behov i omkringliggande buskar. Lite skräpigt runt området och byggnader som såg förfallna ut. Förvånansvärt tyst med tanke på närheten till trafiken och fin utsikt över floden Arno. När vi kom fick vi veta att polisen brukar åka förbi och kontrollera att ingen campar vilket kändes lite osäkert först men vi valde att vara kvar och försökte att inte störa omgivningen mer än nödvändigt och hade inga problem.

Super adresse pour visiter Florence. Le centre est à 30 min à pied (basilique). Nous entendons la circulation de la rive en face, qui ne dérange pas. Nous sommes resté deux jours, rien à signaler au niveau du véhicule. D'autre Van était aussi présent sur le lieux. Lieux propre, fontaine à eau juste à côté.
le parking était plein et nous nous sommes fait jeté à l entrée par un homme étrange qui semblait vivre dans cet endroit et ne souhaitait pas y voir d autres camping car...

We stayed one night and left our van to walk into Florence from. We didn’t feel very safe doing so but ran the risk and got away with it. The area is covered with rubbish and access is tight. By stubbornness we parked a 7 metre sprinter here but it was a struggle. If you want to see Florence, look elsewhere - even if it did workout for us!
Ruhige Nacht in Stadtnähe direkt am Arno, eben, etwas versteckt. Wir schliefen gut und als wir morgens den Van verließen, schauten wir von der nahen Brücke zurück und sahen 2 Männer. Mit dem Handykamerazoom erkannten wir, dass beide HANDSCHUHEN trugen bei 14 Grad plus. Als wir zurück gingen, verschwanden sie in unterschiedliche Richtungen. Zum Besichtigen parkten wir uns um in die Stadt.

Really nice place besides the river. It's even possible to take a hot shower in the sports building during opening hours.

Wir standen hier tagsüber um Florenz zu besuchen. Zu Fuß ist man im ca. 30 Minuten im Stadtzentrum. Der Parkplatz ist etwas versteckt und auch gut besucht. Viele Jogger laufen herum was uns Sicherheit gegeben hat.
Très bon emplacement, plat, vu sur le fleuve Arno, passé 2 nuits. Promenade facile pour rejoindre Florence environ 40min de marche, piste cyclable si vélo. Pas de problème de sécurité, bar tout près donc musique le soir mais pas gênant. Après les journées de visites ça berce ! Point d'eau disponible
perfect spot for staying there for one or two nights. In the near of a bus station and the city. Definitely would come here again, we felt safe.
Flat place, overlooks the river, has some vegetation around the lot, water fountain across the street, very close to bus stops. Toilets by the bar were locked. The bar played loud music (and bad music) until 2330 or midnight. After that pretty quiet! We felt comfortable leaving our camper van there all day. Would stay there again.
So far the best place for sleeping near florencia center, relatively quiet, water source right here, dont know if its drinkable.

Parking gratuit. Bien pour visiter Florence la journée et y passer une nuit. Terrain plat, fontaine d’eau à proximité.
Nous y avons passé une nuit, nous nous y sommes sentis en sécurité, proche d’un bar mais musique pas trop forte nous n’avons pas été trop gêné par le bruit.
Bon endroit , il y a un bar restaurant à côté avec des toilettes et une fontaine d’eau à proximité.
INFO : NOUS AVONS TROUVÉ UN TROUSSEAU DE CLÉS AUJOURD'HUI samedi 12 août (2 clés sur un cordon). Si jamais le propriétaire voit ce commentaire, nous pouvons les renvoyer par courrier. Sinon, endroit bien plat, assez sympa avec vue sur le fleuve. Par contre il y a beaucoup de moustiques (logique avec la proximité de l'eau)

Parfait pour visiter Florence et passer une nuit en dehors de la zone Ztl. Nous avons rencontré Samba proprio du bar il nous a fait visiter et même invité, personne adorable, il veille sur les lieux. On s’y sent en sécurit. Arrivées en milieu de journée et il restait deux places. 30 min du pont vecchio. Plusieurs points de bars éphémères au bord de l’eau sur la route vers le centre ville. Top
Parking proche du centre (20 min à pied) au pied du fleuve Arno, à côté d’un bar musical mais pas dérangeant pour y dormir.
haben dort für die Nacht geparkt um das nightlife in florenz abzuchecken. Am Kreisverkehr in den kleinen weg reinfahren. Die Zufahrt zum Platz selbst ist relativ eng. Hatte mit meinem ducato l1h1 aber kein Problem. Ruhige Nacht und tatsächlich sicher
Auch wenn es nicht ganz koscher aussieht, gut frequentierter Platz. Grosser Pluspunkt, die Wasserstelle direkt daneben. 30min zu Fuss in die Altstadt/Zentrum.
Perfekter Parkplatz (zum Übernachten). Die Einfahrt aus dem Kreisel raus übersieht man schnell also ruhig dem Navi trauen und in die kleine Gasse fahren. Er war fast voll aber 2 Plätze gab es noch. Es gab kein Problem beim übernachten. Er ist Tagsüber relativ gut frequentiert von Fußgängern also eventuell etwas sicherer als sonst.
