nice place to stay. quite a few walkers with dogs and few cars for a quiet road and as up top can be a bit windy.. quite a few parking spaces and ive got 9m tag axle and no probs. little hilly but expect that.. EE signal ish ok. no services at all.
What a lovely view to wake up to, really nice spot. Level, plenty of space and quiet, few cars passed in the night but nothing major. No facilities and no litter up there so keep it clean and enjoy :)
I want to keep this secret to myself but I can’t. One of coolest spots, make sure you walk into the moor opposite the view for a crazy surprise. No facilities, good for one night. No bins. Please leave no trace.
Outstanding views and a level pitch. Bowshaw Trout pub 15 mins walk away. Some traffic and a few boy racers but the views and a morning swim in Snailsden Res more than compensate. Sunsets are glorious.
