Great location only 12 min walk to the black dog. Sadly zero sleep due a lot of weird activity all night. Fine if I had been alone or with one of my mates. But I was with my wife and kids. So I was a little anxious on their behalf. Saturday night stay for us. Maybe mid week a little calmer. Cars vans taxis and bikes. Pulling in all night. No one switches off either.

Great spot easily found and very spacious. undisturbed sleep would definitely recommend. beautiful little walk to the small resivoir. lovely little river to walk by

Great park up, phone signal is good as there is towers on top of the hill. nice and level too only slight downside is occasionally boy racers use the carpark but usually quietens down later in the evening, toilets not far either

Brilliant spot with a lovely walk. very roomy car park with room for at least 8 vans. we parked in the far corner, and it was quiet during the night with no disruptions.

Beautiful walk to a resivoir, which was a great way to start a morning. Very spacious, no other vans present when we stayed and had a beautiful night. Great signal, bins. Great stopover.

Noise from cars passing by. Quite a large space, parked up on the 6th August, two cars and a van already parked but one left after about an hour and no bother from the others. Woke up being the only one on the car park. No facilities but definitely a good spot.

very quiet undisturbed night, nice level spot, lovely views, toilet short walk, lovely walk in the valley next to the river. won't be long until the windberrys are out here.

Level ground with potholes at exit. Road up has pinch points so difficult passing in larger vehicles. Toilet at the end of road near children's park. Seemed to open at 9am. Stayed Sat' night in May. Quiet, bar the later arriving cars. Room for 10 vehicles, 4 when we stayed. We were plagued by midges after briefly opening door. Around 200 to eliminate. Couldn't then leave the windows open to vent.

Amazing location with wonderful views, access to walks, treks and cycle paths. The only downside is that it’s next to a straight road that on the night I stayed motorcycles were using to ‘test’ their racing skills, but this stopped once it was dark.

Great free car park no restrictions. Best level area on far side. Nice walks round res or up Winter Hill if you’re brave. Nice dog friendly pub down in Belmont, just 15 mins walk mostly along the beck, just a short narrow bit of road to navigate. No hassle or noise, we were the only van there.

Stayed last night, great views to wake up to. was 3 vans here when we arrived, but had no bother at all. Nice and quiet

Route magnifique. Les jeunes ont raison de s'y essayer. Le respect a été total et nous ont laissé la place la plus plane car le parking est bosselé.

Great little spot

Enjoyed a one night stay in this spot. Beautiful surroundings and a good base to head to Rivington Hall Barn the next day. We did witness the junior F1 championship for a little while in the late evening but it wasn’t any real bother at all. A great spot to open the door to cook breakfast and enjoy the sunny view.

Decent sized car park/lay by. Nice views and walking around. Lots of coming and going until about 1 or 2am with the local youth coming out for a smoke or a few tinnies but apart from the odd one keen to share their taste in music with the local townsfolk they were no trouble. The road appears to turn into a race track overnight so park at the back in case their talent runs out!

I rocked up about 4am after work and slept really well . it's just a gravel car park area but great views when you wake up. no toilets or water but I had my own .

On était au spot de Revington, voir mon message, le mec qui suit sur les spots du coin nous a rejoint 2min après notre arrivée. Immatriculation VDU KPK ou quelque chose comme ça. Grosse voiture entre la berline ou le break, grise, assez rectangulaire à l’avant, j’ai pas vu le modèle. L’homme portait un bonnet bleu avec une rayure blanche et était barbu. Il se gare et attend dans le noir.

Such a stunning place for the night. we stayed on a Saturday night after not being impressed with the local caravan/camping sites and we actually can't wait to come back again. the views are amazing. car park was in use until aprox midnight but there were only ourselves and another van that stayed overnight. no trouble or issues at all.

Stopped here for the night with my lad, no bother at all, few cars came in the morning parked up and went walking up the hills. Great view to wake up to in the morning aswell!

Avoid Fridays, lots of young racers hanging around. Would be ideal otherwise.

Great spot to park a van for a night.. unfortunately i have to leave at 6am becouse of iron man.. But here solo and its quiet. very happy with this spot..

Nice area but by 10pm was like a scene out of the movie The fast and the furious, atleast 20 cars full of little boy racers sucking on balloons

Arrived around 10 pm, stayed overnight. There was a car parked there on arrival but they left after an hour. Around 12 pm another car arrived played music for about 45 minutes and then left. No other disturbances. Went for a beautiful morning walk up the hill.

Great little place to stay for a night or two. Lovely water side walk, waterfall, nature all around, nice cheap pub with food. There were some visitors to the car park but they were mostly quiet, just bring ear plugs to be safe. We cleared away a bag of rubbish before departing to say thank you to the area for our nights stay :)

We arrived quite late around 10pm. About 2 minutes later a group of youth in 4 separate cars showed up and were gathered outside their cars. Over the next 10 minutes 2 more cars arrived. They were not loud but we did not feel comfortable so we left.

Lovely spot with nice local walks - not too challenging, suitable for dogs and families with children. We stayed just for the day and didn’t sleep overnight, but enjoyed the peace and the views and listening out for pheasants.

Found this place as recommended by cahitee on park4night. Five stars from me lovely stop over point with lovely views and walks. Our Red Setter loved it too. No facilities but no restrictions either. If your ever this way check it out you won’t be disappointed. Suspect it will be packed during the summer days though. By the way love this app and use it all the while. Keep getting out there and enjoy these great places. Roadstarontheroad.
