Layby was a bit too close to the road for us so we drove to red gum road right by it and had a peaceful night. Toilets and showers by the beach. No drinking water.

BecandWoody11/11/2025Drove past this spot, no other vehicles there but would seem suitable for a night. We ended up parking down RedGum road not far from here. Quiet and off the main road.
jysk07/01/2024Good spot, not perfect because it is really rather tolerated than allowed to park there (some residents said it would not be allowed but there are no such indicating signs). In mornings there is shadow, which is huge in summer! It’s directly next to a street so it’s rather loud both in the evening and in the morning.

Good spot, not bothered at all and near the beach which has a shower and toilets. Cause it’s on the road, you’ll start to get regular traffic going past at about 6-7am.

Lovely spot, just behind the sand dunes. Stayed 3 nights no bother. On the road but quiet at night. Toilet and outdoor beach shower. No drinking water.
