Quiet night once the traffic had died down. Only one other camper spent the night in this location. Popular car park for morning dog walkers but zero hassle. Will stay here again.

Great little park up by the bowling club, No signs saying no overnight parking, gates open 24/7 lovely village pub just along the road, Morrisons and various other amenities within walking distance. Can get busy during the day but evenings generally free of cars.

WearAway24/08/2025Like others have said it can be noisy but if you are prepared to put up with the busy road it’s a great spot, stayed bank holiday Saturday night only ones here all night carpark gets full quick in the morning, but that’s to be expected.

Great little spot. Noise from road so you’ll def need ear plugs. The next morning people from the bowling club came and all very friendly with us. Was a bit nervous in the night though as we were the only ones stopping over and it was really unlit.

It is a lovely park up but there football pitch so is a bit noisy until it is dark. Awesome walks and there is night life and bars in seaburn a 10 min walk.

Nice park next to bowls club; a bit busy and we got the last place, a bit quieter later in the evening when there was plenty of space. Great walk along coast to the Souter Lighthouse which was lovely. Luckily it was a clear sunny day and from the top you could see the North Yorkshire Moors to the south and the Cheviots to the north. 8/7/24

Very nice park with bowls club and tennis courts etc. Lovely coast walk to Souter Lighthouse and Marsden Grotto. Short walk to the beach. It was almost full when we got there at lunchtime but thinned out in the afternoon before filling up again in the evening with bowls players and dog walkers. Friendly staff at the Jolly Sailor.
phizl29/06/2024Great little car park with no defined bays and no restrictions. Worth a walk around the church and old village. Real ale pub the Jolly Sailor and the cricket club has a bar if they’re playing.
VivMixham10/09/2023A quiet car park, but adjacent to a main road. Saturday night stopover for us, so traffic until well after midnight. 1 or 2 cars from 5.30 am, so quite a disturbed night's sleep for us - used to silence. Pretty park, nice walk to the beach. better for us than other places close by.

A nice quiet, stop , not very well lit which is good in some ways , no signage apart from public to use the bowls green , very busy in the morning time at 10 , small gate way in to the Car park Iveco daily lwb but no problem at all
