Layby/car park. enough space for 3 or 4 motorhomes. purely parking. quiet road, but some bangs from army gun range, not too intrusive.
Rastplatz/Parkplatz. genug Platz für 3 oder 4 Wohnmobile. rein parken. ruhige Straße, aber einige Schläge aus der Reichweite der Armeegeschütze, nicht zu aufdringlich.

Small but deep lay-by quite lovely views, very windy as top of hill. Little traffic at night, no noise. Not much places to walk unless on side of the road. The pub/ cafe in the village are a must visit, great cakes and a few min drive.
Stayed one night here as part of a wider journey. Very spacious, with good views. Mostly quiet (only a few vehicles went past after 2200), with some Army firing exercises heard in the distance (on a weeknight). Slight slope in the parking area which could mean you'll have to choose where to park, and no facilities. Again, great views, and would stop by again in the future.
Loved this spot. Easy to park and plenty of space to get positioned well away from the road, which is quiet rather than a main thoroughfare. Undisturbed night and woke up to lovely moorland views! I’m glad to see a car park in Northumberland that’s not anti-vans.
