In our opinion very peaceful well-kept grounds that were once a golf course beautiful dog walks around, Breedon church is amazing, The website has not been updated since before the very pretty housing estate was built, Facilities at the moment are freshwater and grey disposal look around to get anything in such a lovely location for this price be kind

Wir standen vor verschlossenen Toren.Niemand hier.Duschen und Toiletten waren vielleicht mal in Planung.Am Tor ist ein Zahlenschloss - sah für uns aber lediglich wie eine Baustelleneinfahrt aus.Ein Schild das das Gelände als Campingplatz auswies war am Tor.Ruhige Gegend haben aber dennoch nicht versucht irgendwie durchs Tor zu kommen.

Very attractive site. On the edge of a country estate. All facilities. Short walk into the village. Very good value.
This park up is not a looker but try and see past that. It overlooks countryside. It's in a historic, pretty village with lots of easy circular walks and pubs for a cheeky pint to finish. Near to East Midlands Airport but the plane noise wasn't a problem for us. Give David a call and he'll either meet you there or give his bank details for payment. We would stay again
Praktischer und sehr günstiger Platz zum übernachten. Die Flugzeuge stören etwas, aber Nachts sind es nur ein paar wenige. Wir konnten gut schlafen.

Sehr ruhig gelegener Platz mit den wichtigsten Aussattungen für Bordver- und entsorgung. Kommunikation mit David via Email schnell und unkompliziert. Einzig negativ ist der Fluglärm, lässt sich aber ertragen. Vielen Dank für das tolle Privatangebot.
Peaceful, quiet, rural campsite next to large fields, good for walking dogs. Book via email, £10a night , water & elsan , gate locked at night, very safe. Site has changed from original photos, now pitches are hardstanding mainly, with grass at side. Would recommend.
Stayed one night last night. Hard-standing only now. Lovely easy communication with David via email. Paid £10 cash. Elsan, fresh water, drive over grey waste drain, 24hr toilet & large waste bin. We couldn't get out to do any walks as it was raining all night & all morning. We would stop again if in the area, very safe park-up.
Stayed here for two nights 29/31.5.24. Good location, gravelled area almost level. Lovely sleep even with the planes, very friendly owners made us welcome. Secure site, gates locked, code provided. Local pub rather expensive, went into Ashby, had a lovely Indian dinner. Deffinately stay again.
Lovely father ( 94 yrs old) and his son greeted us. Good hardstanding site. Water, Elsan and toilet. Lovely little village, a few pubs nearby. Peaceful night, felt completely safe. Enter through new estate, Priory Close, then St Hardulphs Close. We stayed overnight, so we could be near the Donnington Park race circuit as we had early entry next morning to the racing.

Geweldige plek, mooi groot veld met gras is van topkwaliteit (deel van oude golfbanen), prachtig uitzicht op de heuvel met een historisch oud kerkje. Absoluut aanrader! En kans op gezellig gesprek met de 93 jarige eigenaar!

Great place, cheap @ £10 owner is very friendly, turned up in a ATV and had a chat. highly recommend.
glatte Wiese und "Wellcome" Schild auch für nicht-Members. Aber leider kein Hinweis wieviel und wo zu bezahlen ist. Der Goldplatz existiert nicht mehr... und die Zufahrt ist auch unklar.... sonst prima Platz.
Perfect for a few nights. Lovely and quiet. With a beautifully manicured large area of grass on which to park up. Fresh water and waste dump. Need a meter cupboard key to access the fresh. Lovely walks to the church on the hill. Also to Melbourne and Calke abbey. Both about 1 hour away over some gently undulating meadows. Highly recommended
Stopped in enroute from up north, great place, it’s behind some new houses now, fresh water and loo dump on road and a lovely mowed field to park where you want. I would come here for a weekend.
Changed a bit since we were last here in 2018 but still open. Dump/fill area down by sheds. One caveat is the owner who set this up has recently passed away so don't know if they will continue forever. £10 a night paid at golfing portakabin
This place still exists and is lovely. You just have to drive through the new housing estate to get to it (new houses still under construction in places). A simple stopover amongst the golf course for self sufficient campers. Not completely flat in the whole field so might need levellers in places. I think water is available and possibly drain to drive over if you ask. Great 4G on Vodafone and 3.

This site is very much open and has never closed Parking on a massive field behind the new houses the comment above is not true there are services here maybe they didn’t ask payment via PayPal or at the golf office cash

The site no longer has shops or any facilities. The former garden centre is being developed which won’t affect gold and overnight parking except that it’ll become a building site for the foreseeable future. We stayed January 2020. Development has yet to begin. Toilets only open during office hours. Grey waste emptied on grassy area by trees ( by instruction)
£6 per night, elsan point and fresh water. Short walk to local pub and village, a little aircraft noise from East Midlands Airport but didn't bother us to much. Pay in the golf reception and if its wet park on the hard standing.
Pour 6 livres avec de quoi vider et remplir l eau, rien à dire il y a beaucoup d espace juste le bruit des avions mais pas en pleine nuit Beau village à côté avec son église sur la colline
Nice spot friendly people, recommend a short walk to the local pub for a meal and drink.
Nous sommes passés ce matin pour un arrêt technique, vidange et plein, personnes très sympathiques. 2 £ pour le plein. L'endroit semble bien pour la nuit au calme.
We always stay here whenever we are anywhere in the area. Cheap and good even in winter as we park on the hard standing. Always a warm welcome and fantastic walking in the area
Parfait pour une nuit, Vidange et eau sur place, pas cher vu les prix aux alentours, très bon accueil et belle étendue d'herbe pour s'y garer, prévoir des cales.
Très calme hormis quelques avions. Tarif 6 £ pour un camping-car à 2. Belle église fortifiée facile d'accès à pied.

La nuit a été super calme ! les gens sont très agréables et ils nous ont même indiqué ou prendre un véritable petit déjeuner anglais conséquent et pas cher ! 6 £ alors qu'on n'est pas adhérent
