Wenn wir mehr Sterne geben könnten, würden wir es tun. Luis und seine Familie sind total liebenswert, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Mitarbeit auf dem Hof hat der ganzen Familie Spass gemacht und wir haben viel gelernt!

Au pied de la plus haute chaîne de montagnes du Portugal continental, la Serra da Estrela, se dresse cette ancienne et magnifique maison construite sur l'une des centaines de pierres géantes du centre du Portugal (d'où le nom du domaine « Le Lieu de la Haute Pierre »).
Depuis plus d'un siècle, elle a été construite avec soin et goût pour être un lieu de détente et de retrouvailles familiales et demeure aujourd'hui encore le refuge idéal pour des moments intimes en famille.
L'un de nos objectifs est de permettre à la nature de s'épanouir, d'adopter une approche agricole régénératrice et biologique, en appliquant les principes et méthodes de la permaculture, de minimiser l'impact environnemental et de privilégier une approche biologique, respectueuse de la nature.
Nous recherchons des caravanes pour des bénévoles à court, moyen et long terme, de préférence pour du moyen et long terme, afin de nous aider à mettre en œuvre la permaculture : potager, compostage chaud lent et rapide, fumier humain, plantation d'arbres, construction de toilettes sèches, pose de clôtures, soins aux chevaux et aux poules, nettoyage du terrain, des écuries, fourniture de bois de chauffage et de bois divers, coupe des arbres morts, etc.

At the foot of the highest mountain range in Continental Portugal, Serra da Estrela, lays the old and beautiful house built on top of one of the hundreds of giant stones in the central area of Portugal (hence the name of the estate "The Place of the High Stone").
For more than a century, it has been meticulously and tastefully built as a place of relaxation and family reunions and has remained to this day the ideal hiding place for intimate moments in the family.
One of our objectives is to allow nature to thrive, to take a regenerative and organic approach to agriculture, applying Permaculture principles and designs, to interfere as little as possible with the environment, to go about it all in an organic way - one that is not harmful to nature.
We are looking to receive caravans for short/medium/long-term volunteers, but we prefer medium/long term, to help us with all the Permaculture implementation, from the veggie garden, making slow and fast hot compost, human manure, planting trees, building dry toilets, fencing, take care of the horses, chickens, cleaning the terrain, the stables, the wood for fire and wood for several uses, the cut of the dead trees, etc etc etc

Am Fuße der höchsten Bergkette des portugiesischen Festlands, der Serra da Estrela, liegt dieses alte und wunderschöne Haus, erbaut auf einem der Hunderten riesigen Steine in Zentralportugal (daher der Name des Anwesens „Der Ort des hohen Steins“).
Seit über einem Jahrhundert wurde es sorgfältig und geschmackvoll als Ort der Entspannung und für Familientreffen erbaut und ist bis heute der ideale Rückzugsort für gemütliche Momente mit der Familie.
Eines unserer Ziele ist es, die Natur gedeihen zu lassen, einen regenerativen und biologischen Ansatz in der Landwirtschaft zu verfolgen, die Prinzipien und Konzepte der Permakultur anzuwenden, die Umwelt so wenig wie möglich zu beeinträchtigen und alles auf biologische Weise zu bewirtschaften – so, dass es der Natur nicht schadet.
Wir suchen Wohnwagen für Freiwillige für kurze, mittlere oder lange Zeit, bevorzugen aber mittel- bis langfristige Aufenthalte, um uns bei der Umsetzung der Permakultur zu unterstützen, vom Gemüsegarten über die Herstellung von langsamem und schnellem Heißkompost, menschlichem Dünger, das Pflanzen von Bäumen, den Bau von Trockentoiletten, das Errichten von Zäunen, die Versorgung von Pferden und Hühnern, die Reinigung des Geländes, die Ställe, das Besorgen von Feuerholz und Holz für verschiedene Zwecke, das Fällen abgestorbener Bäume usw. usw. usw.

jesseline202326/10/2023Lugar da pedra alta. A magical place with great and inspiring owners. Huge hospitality and free to walk the 12 hectares to get your dose of nature. We stayed for a week, but could have been longer easily. We helped 4-6 hours per day with the compost, mushroom farm and walnut picking, washing, cracking. Go now and do some healthy work! During the weekend we visit the Serra da Estrela for a hike.

Nous sommes venus mais n'avons pu rentrer. Dommage, nous n'avons vu personne, il n'y a pas de numéro de téléphone ni de sonnette pour appeler... Une prochaine fois peut-être !
Yandacela24/04/2023Quedamos enamorados de este lugar y de sus anfitriones Gabriela y Luis. Nos trataron con gran amabilidad permitidonos elegir si poner nuestra caravana al sol o a la sombra en un entorno de naturaleza y paz idílico. Nos mostraron toda la finca con la enorme variedad de naturaleza que posee. Nos entendimos a la perfección puesto que hablan al menos 5 idiomas. Sin duda es un lugar para volver.

Pensábamos quedarnos 1 noche, pero los dueños Luis y Gabriella fueron tan amables y acogedores, y nos sentimos tan en paz en ese entorno tan idilico y relajante que decidimos ampliar nuestro descanso por unos días mas. La finca esta completamente llena de flores. Los caballos pastando libremente y la posibilidad de elegir sol o sombra para colocar nuestra Autocaravana es un plus. Volveremos

This place is simply amazing if you love nature. The host gave me a warm welcome showing his beautiful farm. If you are looking for peace and quite and want to learn about topics like gardening, composting and permaculture in particular, this is the place to be. Park your van in the sun or shade, both is possible. If you arrive at the gate give the owner a call. He answers fast and consistently

We had a nice and quiet 1 night stay. The host was very welcoming, and showed us the farm. It's a huge and beautiful farm. 2 beautiful horses walking around freely, came to our campervan... We harvested some fruits and peeled some almonds. It's near the road so you can hear the cars passing, but it didn't bother us.
casaelmarron01/10/2022Een geweldige locatie! Gastvrij en authentiek Portugal. Wij hebben meegeholpen bij de amandeloogst en dat was een fantastische ervaring. Dankzij Luis en Gabriella hebben we ook nog heel veel andere mensen ontmoet en kregen we een heerlijke lunch. Echt een plek om aan te bevelen. Goed bereikbaar met een grote camper, 7,5m en 3,1 hoog.
