Eigentlich schöner Ort aber ab Einbruch der Dunkelheit ständiges kommen und gehen. Anscheinend werden hier Drogen konsumiert/verkauft? Hatten das Problem noch bei anderen Parkplätzen in der Nähe. Fühlten uns nicht sicher.

annawolf12/08/2024Absolutely perfect spot. Camped two nights. In the far you see the Glastonbury tor, ravens all around this spot. In the evening young guys tend to hang out in their cars, feels a bit creepy but they seem to be just chilling outside the mama house. Every night they went off when darkness set in. There were more campers so I felt safe. Very nice little park to have a picknick or read a book. It’s a natural reserve. Leave no trace ❤️
RegiFurian20/07/2024Ottimo parcheggio con molti posti disponibili. Passato la notte con un paio di altri van. Molto tranquillo e silenzioso di notte e di giorno. Bellissima vista a pochi passi dal parcheggio.

This is a nice location for a day visit for walks. Accessible car park for smaller vans. We had planned to stay the night but by 10pm the site was attracting young people looking for a secluded location to drink and take drugs. Also people would drive in and just sit in their cars staring. Made for a very weird vibe. In the end we didn't feel this was a safe location and moved on.

height barrier and narrow road but overall amasing spot with beautiful view. very qiuet at night and woodland to explore. Not sure why the comment below mentions only room for 6 vans packed tight. This isnt true. there is loads of space for 20 vehicles and If you swing a right directly after the height barrier and follow the lane, there is ample more parking. No litter to be seen.
AmyRing13/06/2024Had 2 quiet nights sleep here, cars coming and going, had other vans parked overnight so made us feel a bit more at ease, leave no trace.. free overnight parking, the walk is pretty amazing too

As you enter, turn right and you will find a secluded area hidden from the road. I had a lovely night here, was alone from 21:00 - 07:00. Height barrier on entry, so unfortunately most won't get in here. There is a spot further up the road that vans can still get in. There was still quite a lot of litter, which goes to show that van drivers are not soley responsible!

Amazing night sleep! Great spot away from everything, nice and quiet and no ‘no overnight’ signs to be seen :)

Great spot , room for about 6 vans packed tight . Full when I went both times . Only use access from Priddy or your going to get stuck in the lanes . You can see right over the Somerset plains
