Howell Road Carpark: costs to park between 8am and 10pm but is great for an over night stop. Really flat and quiet feels really safe. Very easy to walk into the city centre. I’ve stayed here overnight twice now and had no issues!!

We stayed here on a Monday night and were the only van. Within 20 minutes of arriving mid afternoon, we heard a homeless guy shouting at a girl he was with. We also heard someone shouting someone's name at around 1am, which gave us a shot of adrenaline. But no-one directed anything negative towards us. In the morning, we noticed the grey homeless shelters in the North East corner of the car park.

4 spots for 8 m. campers at the left side. arrived at a sunday and was the only motorhome at that time.

Zie foto. Anders werd het erg lastig.

I’ve parked here several times and it’s been good in the past - flat, quiet and secure, in the spot for campervans by the homeless micro homes. Tonight however there were more homeless people in tents with louder drinking, moving around and shouting between the groups. Decided to move on at midnight because I couldn’t sleep and felt vulnerable.

Dedicated motorhome bays were so tight that when we parked next to the other vehicle they were unable to open their doors! Once suitably parked it was ok. Trains noisy throughout night. A homeless (?) hostel at the end of carpark initially caused some safety concerns but we were not troubled or disturbed. 15 minute walk to Cathedral. Not the best nights sleep I've ever had. Cost £13

Perfect stop for an overnight in the city. Very safe and quiet. We stayed for one night and will defo be doing it again

Parked up and the warden asked us to park on the far right hand side. there was another van already there. The trains stop in the evening. There are a few residential places in the car park but no disturbances either way.

Park here regularly in the daytime without issue. Always plenty of spaces, even for large vehicles. I'd recommended accessing via Blackall Road for easier access with a long vehicle. Have also stayed overnight and wasn't disturbed at all.

one night. flat, quiet, close to town. Good

Plenty of available space after 6pm, however there are only 4 lined bays for long vehicles such as Motorhomes. But of course you can easily park across two car bays but I think a strict parking inspector would expect you to pay for two bays during the hours of 8am to 10pm and its not cheap at 13pound for 24 hours. Some bays aren't clearly marked so I would asume they could be used for Motorhomes.

Großer Parkplatz direkt in der Stadt, 13,00 GBP für 24 Stunden, praktisch, alles asphaltiert, sehr eben

Goede plek om Exeter te bezoeken. Rustige nacht.

bra parkering mitt i centrum.

Lovely and quiet and slightly lit up so feels a bit safer. Tucked away in a corner and slept like babies! Thanks for posting and to previous reviewers! Will definitely use again!

Stayed here with no issues, train line was a bit noisy but flat and quiet car park, no through traffic. Felt safe and secure

Flat and nice and quiet, even on a Saturday night when town was heaving! While the train line is close, we only heard one or two so wasn’t disturbing. Would happily use this car park again!

Likewise we found this to be a great place to stop, felt safe and trains distant enough not to bother us. Easy walk to cathedral, Christmas craft fair and quays. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days and nights. We followed all signage, paid our dues, left nothing behind and at no time were we bothered/challenged.

I stayed here overnight for free. Flat and felt quite safe although only one way in/out. Only issue is the train line can be loud next to the car park.
