Spent a rainy night here end of semptember. We were alone,nobody else around. a few hikers arrived in the morning, but did not bother us. It was pretty quiet during the whole night, we didn' t really hear any traffic nor the trains. There is a grill shelter and a bin, nothing else. Practical to do the hike in the morning
Von hier startet die Wanderung auf den Trollsjön, sehr zu empfehlen! Ich war letzte Woche da und hatte eine ruhige Nacht.
Large rubbish container, no toilet but a grill hut. One can hear and see the road and hear the trains.
This is probably a good place to have a short rest along the road but we didn't find it suitable for staying longer because, in summer, during the day it was noisy because it is close to a busy road and it is very uneven with only a small flat area by the road.
Great hike from there!! But to much nosie from the road to stay and sleep
Super Lage für die Wanderung. Der Platz ist groß und bietet auch in der Hauptsaison ausreichend Stellplätze. Inzwischen gibt es einen Müllcontainer, der aber nur für Reiseabfall gedacht ist. Es ist immer ein Kommen und Gehen, auch nachts. Daher ist es nie wirklich ruhig auf dem Platz. Das ist jedoch bei eigentlich allen Plätzen in Absiko der Fall.

Absolutely epic starting point for a hike to Rissajaure. Spacious parking place but theres constantly some noice from trains and passing cars. Great views even from the parking place
Sehr schöner Parkplatz ohne Service Leistungen, also alles an Müll und etc. mitnehmen. Toller Blick auf die Berge und in der Nähe ist auch noch ein kleiner Fluss. Grillhütte scheint noch recht neu zu sein, Grillroste ist auch vorhanden

Good night's sleep although train does sound its hooter as it passes! Amazed to be awoken at 7 am by a rescue helicopter landing next to the van to meet an ambulance. Glad we had parked tidily alongside other vehicles.

Prachtige plek in de sneeuw, en blokhut met vuurplaats erin. In de verte rijdt goederen trein voorbij
Stor grus parkering. Det er bålhytte hvis man selv har brænde. Ved bålhytten er der skralde spand. Ingen restriktioner eller yderlige service. Vi blev smidt væk af en fra et sær transport firma der lukkede pladsen uden at kunne komme med anden grund end. Jeg lukker pladsen så i skal køre nu.

Onduidelijk of we hier mochten staan. Maar samen met een paar andere campers een rustige nacht beleefd met mooi zicht op de bergen.
This place should be updated - it is possible to stay overnight now - trafic signs with 8-18 only removed. we liked this place - stayed 2 nights. There is a shelter with fireplace (bring your wood) and dustbin. you can walk to Trollsjon lake (12 km), waterfalls (4 km) or just to visit small train station (waiting room opened, heated, 1 km).
