ik heb hier een heel stille nacht gehad. de maandag voormiddag heb ik hier ook blijven staan en de parking bleef leeg :)
Parking gratuit sur le terrain de rugby, à environ 20-25 minutes du château de Stirling. Nous n'avons pas dormi mais le site est plat et nous n'avons vu aucun signe d'interdiction de stationnement de nuit. Limite de hauteur de 3 mètres pour entrer.
Free parking at the rugby field, about 20-25 minutes from Stirling Castle. We have not slept but the site is flat and we have not seen any sign of no overnight parking. 3 meter height limit to enter.
Kostenlose Parkplätze am Rugbyfeld, ca. 20-25 Minuten von Stirling Castle entfernt. Wir haben nicht geschlafen, aber das Gelände ist flach und wir haben keine Anzeichen dafür gesehen, dass es keine Nachtparkplätze gibt. 3 Meter Höhenbegrenzung zum Betreten.

Large car park, nice and flat. Only complaint being the late night “cruisers” turning up, and the early morning trains but they didn’t bother us. Open field for walking the dogs too!

parking bien placé mais assez bruyant avec le passage des trains tard le soir et tôt le matin. reste acceptable si on a le sommeil lourd.

Wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Wallace Monument. Nachts ist es ruhig, wir konnten die Toiletten dort mitbenutzen. Alle Menschen sehr freundlich.

Super Stellplatz und ruhige Nacht. Toller Ausblick aufs Wallace Monument. Abends ist viel los weil Rugby-Training ist.
KerryElson09/05/2024no issues overnight. never heard the trains overnight at all, but morning both trains and traffic can be heard. not a prob as time to get up. it is a rugby club, and we arrived just before the training session so lots going on in the carpark, but plenty of space fir us, another camper and all the cars. felt quite safe

Très bien, grand parking au calme à côté du terrain de rugby, juste à côté du Stirling Old Bridge. très pratique pour marcher jusqu'en ville !

We were going to stay here but after leaving the van and cycling to Bannockburn Battlefield, when we arrived back, a car was parked up with the driver still inside. It was very close to our van and obviously hiding from sight behind it, out of view from the clubhouse. The car park was almost empty. When the driver saw us, he immediately drove away. Obviously up to no good.
john22122122121/08/2023Excellent safe parking at the Rugby club for around 10 motorhomes, excellent view of the Waĺlace monument in the distance. Cafe nearby. Bar in the Club at the weekend. Rugby games at the weekend bring in a lot of spectators, and they need to park.

Parking assez calme pour une nuit. Au matin quelques trains et passages des locaux avec leurs chiens. Pas de services.
Leo1310/06/2023Wir haben von Freitag auf Samstagnacht hier gestanden es war sehr ruhig. Wir standen ganz allein auf dem großen Parkplatz. Wir sind 3 m und 2,2m breit wir kamen gerade so unter der Eisenbahnbrücke durch. Ab und zu fährt ein Zug am Tage aber nachts haben wir nichts gehört.

Wir haben hier die Nacht verbracht. Hatte keine Probleme. Es ist sehr ruhig. Ab und zu kommen hier Leite um mit dem Hund Gassi zugehen oder ähnliches. Ansonsten war der Parkplatz immer leer.
