Wir haben hier eine gute Nacht verbracht. Direkt gegenüber ist ein Pub, das Essen ist super lecker und das Bier sowieso. Absolut empfehlenswert für eine Nacht :)

On a passé une très bonne nuit au calme, petite promenade jusqu'à l'eau, pub avec bons plats et ambiance écossaise juste en face, on était bien !

Close to a pub and across the police (which gives an even better feeling). 5 GBP as a donation reqested, but worth more, so we gave more. A clear recommendation for an overnight stay!

Good sleeping place! 5£ which is quiet good.

Stayed here and went to the bar and had a pizza at the crianlarich hotel. Also a pint at the rod and reel. Great village to stop at and a bargain at £5 to stay in the car park. Pay the fee and spend in the village to make the van life people welcome. Such lovely folks here.

Wir haben hier gut übernachten können. Etwas Lärm von der Straße, aber nicht weiter schlimm. Im Pub gibt es leckeres Bier und etliche Whiskysorten, außerdem Speisen (haben wir aber nicht probiert). Und der Shop ist hervorragend sortiert. Klare Empfehlung! Parken über Nacht für PKW 3 £ und für Campervans/Wohnmobile 5 £ in die Box.

excellent stop off. minimum donations 5.00 but if we do not make an effort for these stop off and pay a bit more they will go. we cannot expect the communities to fund us travellers please pay the minimum and more if you can because if you don't it willnt be here soon

Great place to stop in the winter, lovely view and walks. No services except the shop.

Winter stop in campervan. Ideal! Village shop is really good and views of mountains just superb. Voluntary donation requested at Car park, which is level and although the main road has plenty of trucks it’s about 20M away if you park at the back. Great walks by the river.

Fijn dat er zulke plekken zijn. Bedankt gemeenschap! Wij stonden er een paar dagen geleden en toen leek de plek 's nachts te worden gebruikt door wegenbouwers. Er was hierdoor veel bedrijvigheid in de nacht. Geen idee of dit elke nacht nu zo is, maar het was minder prettig voor een goede nachtrust. Er staat een zuil waar je je donatie cash in kunt doen.

large flat carpark with lots of room. the Rod and Reel pub is across the street. friendly folks, good food. nice walks and hikes nearby. I heard a train go by but it wasn't very loud. tomorrow we plan to do the walk and hike. both start right near the carpark.

Fairly quiet night. Nice flat space, plenty of room. Very safe opposite the police station!

No es pot demanar gairebé res més a un parking sense serveis al poble. Pernocta tranquil·la sense massa soroll de cotxes. Bona opció si estàs en ruta

très bien pour y passer une nuit, toilettes public à 100m, restaurant en face, on peut faire une donation vu que le parking est gratuit.

Nice little spot to park up from the road. Local shop across the road and a restaurant. Not much else around. It’s perfect for braking up your drive

Car park wasn't busy so we got the back space away from other vehicles. Can hear all traffic passing by but isn't that bad (expected). Walk path at the back of the car park to the left, was great for our dogs who like grassy areas. Good view of the mountains.

Wir kamen spät in der Nacht an mit unserem Wohnmobil und Anhänger und fanden noch Platz. Die Nacht war sehr ruhig. Spendenbox vorhanden, für Wohnmobile 5 Pfund,wir waren sehr dankbar. Empfehlenswert

Great spot to stop for the night on route to Oban.

fantastic stop over spot, plenty space and fairly level....we looked at reviews of the Rod &Reel pub, many not so good. However we had fantastic food, massive portions, great service, dog friendly and well priced....a nice local village pub serving good wholesome pub grub.... enjoy and support the local community..

Great spot in the area. Nice pub across the street, public toilets a short walk away and surrounded by the hills. Donations are suggested, and they even have a QR code option. There's a small green area with a few picnic benches so great for dogs and a family meal!

Arrived late but still space, lovely walk by river the next morning with dogs. There can be a bit of road noise at night with trucks but great for an overnight stop

Endroit très calme pour passer la nuit au sein du village, aucun bruit. Juste à côté de la caserne. Les enfants étaient ravis de voir arriver les voitures de la rescue mountain se garer à côté de nous.

Wot a gem, overnight in hattie, no services but toilets 2 mins walk, shop 2 mins walk with every thing u need & bottle gas, pub right across the road, £5 donation just the ticket, defo come back, lev nowt behind

Sehr ruhige Nacht auf Asphaltplatz mitten in der Stadt. Mülleimer vorhanden und Geschäfte/Pub.

Great place to stop. Large level car park at least 10 metres from the main road. spent a quiet undisturbed night. FIrst class shop across the road that sells everything. Friendly personal. If you don't have problems with autarckic camping then this is the ideal spot. If you're worried about the legality I'll put your minds to rest. There is a police statipn across the road in full view.

Fab spot in village square (£5 donation to the maintainance of the public facilities) it’s a two minute walk to a public loo that’s well maintained. There are info boards for some local walking and history. There’s a shop across the road and very little disturbance. Locals very welcoming - gave us some fantastic recommendations for food/views on our way up to Inverness. It can be busy in summer.

As previously stated, great place to park overnight. Donation of £5 for a motorhome requested at the honesty box plus pay by phone with an app.

Perfect stopover for self contained van. Green Infront of car park with picnic tables. Lovely river walk behind. Pub opposite, very friendly staff and delicious fish &chips and steak pie. Very little traffic over night and pub not noisy at all. Shop has very good range of stuff and owners are very friendly and helpful. You'll need Midge repellent in summer months once heat is out of the day.

Great place to stop, feels safe as it’s opposite the police station! Remember to leave donation :) In addition to the tips below, I can also recommend the breakfast at the Crianlarich Hotel! Not the best signal on Vodafone but this is pretty much the only place to find signal between Bridge of Orchy and Callander.

We had a great night here:-) We felt totally safe and had a pint in the pub opposite. £5 donation is a bargain and it was nice to see campervan/motorhomes contributing to the local community. I hope more UK villages add facilities like this one.

Great place for a stop over. A pub over the road (Rod & Reel) does lovely food, a convenience store and a cafe at Crainlarich railway station does a great breakfast. There is a toilet at the railway station which is open in the daytime.There is an honesty box for donations towards the upkeep of the space by the local community, you can contribute with cash or there is a QR code you can use.

Parking amplio, accesible para autocaravanas grandes. Pequeño parque com mesas de picnic y baños publicos. Pequeños paseos circulares señalizados. Tiendas, pubs i policia en frente. Buena parada.

Great level carpark across from small police station. Good telephone signal. We stayed for one night and it was quiet and peaceful. Small shop across the road has nice fresh rolls and sandwiches. At the back of the car park is a small scenic walking trail with ornamental benches and tubs of flowers, it's a 5 minute walk to a lovely view of the river and the viaduct.

Arrived in freezing fog at night as didnt want to drive any further north in dark fog. is on main street area plenty of spaces and tarmac is flat and level. across from small local police office but saw no signage to deter us parking, a good nights sleep and good EE and 3 network coverage. left in morning to continue northern journey, appreciated stopover v. much due to adverse weather. Nov 2021

Had to stay here for a few nights because I injured myself and couldn't drive for a few days. The locals were friendly, lovely people at the shop let you fill up with water from their outside tap if you ask. Pub was nice, avg. pint of larger £4.20. No one questioned my long stay. Signal with O2. The 'No overnight/camping' sign is not official, was put there by some locals.

Haben hier am 23.07. eine Nacht verbracht, es war recht ruhig und das Essen im Pub auf der anderen Straßenseite war super.

Although sign says no overnight parking, we asked at the pub and they said it was fine. The main point being people don't leave a mess when you leave. Although the traffic noise is fairly consrant, it didn't bother us. Doubt there are many places in this area you'll be far from the road. The home made steak pie wasn't bad, by the way (pub up the road).

Très bon emplacement gratuit pour une nuit. C’est un parking mais le lieu est très calme et des toilettes sont mis à disposition.

Parking plutôt calme la journée comme la nuit. En face du poste de police de la ville. Les toilettes sont justes, une toilette de chantier mais ça fait l'affaire et c'est sympa de mettre cela à disposition. Mais apparemment il y a d'autres toilettes publiques à côté de l'hôtel. À vous de découvrir ;)

Quiet place opposite the police station. Public toilets 100m up the rd opposite Crianlarich hotel, (not the portaloo on site!!). Good for motorhomes.
