Beautiful location with multiple camping opportunities by the river. Some closer to the shore, some on slightly higher ground
Un endroit calme près de la rivière Mann, dans la commune de Pui, avec accès aux montagnes de Retezat ! Le camping Baleia est à 500 mètres. Fortement recommandé !
Arrivé à l'ouest de la rivière, tournez à gauche sur le chemin de gravier juste après la scierie. En 4x4, vous pourrez peut-être aussi arriver par l'est et traverser la rivière ; un chemin de gravier y mène également.
A quiet spot near the Mann River in the Pui municipality with access to the Retezat Mountains! Camping Baleia is 500 meters away. Highly recommended!
Arrive west of the river. Turn left onto the gravel road immediately after the sawmill. With a 4x4, you may also be able to approach from the east and cross the river; a gravel road also leads through there.
Ruhiger Ort in der Nähe" des Flusses Mann "Gemeinde Pui mit Zugang zu den Bergen Retezat! 500 Meter entfernt befindet sich Camping Baleia. Zu empfehlen!
Anreise westlich des Flusses. Direkt nach dem Sägewerk auf die Schotterstraße links abbiegen. Mit einem 4x4 kann man eventuell auch von Osten kommen und den Fluss queren, dort führt auch ein Schotterweg durch.

Dawe225/08/2024I don't understand the last comment, it is necessary to go to the destination not through private land but along the path through the meadow. Good quiet place to sleep by the footbridge. Clean river. Next to it is a corral where the cows come to graze in the morning. In the evening, there were local dogs from private property in the distance and they watched over us at night.
Jensherbert16/07/2024Erstens stimmen die Koordinaten nicht und wenn dann mit Google gefunden ,Nichts ! Eine große Wiese mit 2 halbfertigen Gebäuden ! Vielleicht wollt ihr 2025 eröffnen ? Ohne Sterne kann man nichts schreiben, warum ??

fullsoft30/06/2023A completely quiet night, just in the morning a few cows passed by to graze. Just a small warning - some navigation applications guide you to the place wrongly, so you end up on the other side of the stream right under the inhabited houses. So, turn off the E79 at coordinates 45.5136489N, 23.0949609E and then take the dirt road

A great quite place, very easily accessible. Has an interesting sign about the miniature dinosaurs that used to live here. River access is also used by the cows, so I suggest parking a bit out of the way, there's enough flat options. Does mean I had to wash my dog 2 times in the time I was there as she found interesting things to roll in! But then, that's easy with the river right there!
