Fijne plek om te overnachten tegen een kleine vergoeding. Je staat met een paar campers naast elkaar. Rustig in de nacht, wat brutale zeemeeuwen maar verder geen last van. Kleine wandeling van 4 minuutjes naar de hoofdstraat en een openbaar toiletgebouw, deze is overdag open, snachts niet.

working dock so be prepared to hear the fisherman go out early in the morning. very popular extra parking outside swimming pool 2 min walk. Public toilets available during opening time approx 9-6pm. Beautiful views and the canon battery very cool with rock climbing fun.

Ich kann mich nur anschließen, ein wirklich schöner Platz, Stellplätze sehr eng, aber zum übernachten völlig in Ordnung, das Pub ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Sehr sympathischer Ort. Man steht direkt am Hafenbecken. Um die Ecke das Pub „Volunteers Arm“ sehr süß mit Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre. Man kann laut dem netten Schwimmbad-Personal wohl auch ein paar Meter den Hügel rauf am Schwimmbad über Nacht umsonst parken, obwohl ein Schild es verbietet. Wir haben trotzdem für 10£ am Hafen gestanden, weil die Nacht sehr stürmisch war. Nur nette Begegnungen hier.

une bonne nuit sur le parking du port. L'endroit est agréable et tranquille. on entend les pêcheurs partir entre 3h et 4h. Possibilité de manger à côté, restaurant The creel ou le pub non loin de là. 10£ à mettre dans une boîte en forme de camping-car. Pas mal pour une nuit.

This is probably the best overnight location we have used so far. the harbour is beautiful. Very interest watching the fishing boats coming in with their catch in the morning. Fairly quiet during the day and very quiet at night. there are some good trucks open during the day at 10am till 6pm.

A great place to pitch up, room for 6-8 vehicles, an honesty system for payment of £10 per night. Dunbar is a fantastic town with great pubs and a high street that still has independent shops including a community bakery that is ace. Fairly sheltered from winds.

Absolute Empfehlung, wenn man Glück hat und einen Platz bekommt, ist dieser Ort wunderschön.

Excellent stopover. 2 minute walk to toilets, plenty shops, bars, food places nearby. Honesty box or scan and pay. Asked me for £5 when scanned but I paid £10.

What a lovely park up really close to town and minute walk to pub £10 donation in honesty box no facilities but swimming pool for swim and shower and public toilets not24hr 5 min walk it is a working harbour so some noise but stopped after working day RNLI do training nights for staff Thursday night so was good watching them train we were also blessed with a fantastic display from the auroras

Platz mag in Ordnung sein für eine Nacht. Uns war es zu windig und zu laut und daher haben wir in der Station Road im Ort geparkt. Es sind dort keine Verbotsschilder für Overnight Parking und nach 16 Uhr bezahlt man lediglich 2£. Man steht windstill und es ist sehr ruhig. Unter der Woche beginnt ab 6:30 Uhr der Berufsverkehr und die Leute suchen Parkplätze. Der Station Yard Micropub ist top.

Parking au niveau du port, extrêmement bruyant et passant.

Que du bonheur, sommes restés 2 nuits 20£ c’est tellement beau, calme, pas de service, que du repos .

A beautiful stop over local noise stopped around 10:30, we had drinks at the volunteer pub, go it's a great pub. Paid online using code, Scotland needs more spaces like this. One we will definitely use again

Toll , dass es solche Plätze gibt! Direkt am Hafen, Zentrum mit Lokalen zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Sehr lebendiger Hafen, unglaublich schön. Es war mein erster Nachtplatz in Schottland. Ein schöner Platz für die Nacht. Es ist klar, dass man die Möwen hört und auch Nachts die Fischerboote wenn sie raus schippern.

What a find, loved it here. Lovely walk around the harbour, even saw a couple of seals coming in behind the fishing trawlers. Everyone so friendly. Had a swim and a shower in the local swimming pool. We payed the 10.00 to the ports online charity. Worth every penny.

Uns hat es gefallen! Ja - man hört Möwen und je nachdem auch Fischer, aber es ist halt ein Hafen in Betrieb und nicht nur für Touristen und man steht in der ersten Reihe! Danke Dunbar. Natürlich 10 £ in die Box gelegt. Zahlung ist auch per App möglich.

Thank you Dunbar Harbour!!! Shame more Harbour authorities don't allow the same parking. Price per night is £10 in the honesty box. Please if you use this carpark overnight do be honest to continue this service for others and potentially encourage other harbours to do the same. The money goes towards the beautiful Harbour that has lots of information boards for tourists.

Lovely place to park. £10 in the honesty box. No facilities, other than local toilets. Although the leisure centre will let you shower for a nominal charge. Very quiet, even the birds quietened down at night. Well worth stopping.

Great overnight parking spot. No other vans when we stayed. Paid online using the QR code.

Most of the parking bays are currently coned off for a skip (17 Feb). And the public toilets are locked up. Still an amazing place to stay the night. Volunteer Inn is worth a visit.

Some signage is confusing. The permit parking signs are for a slightly different area. Good spot, happy to pay £10

Übernachten ist an Hafen nicht möglich. Parkplätze sind nur noch für Premit-Holder. es ist auch absolut kein Platz für andere PKWs oder Wohnmobile.

Adorable port de pêche, avec baraque qui servent des sea food..place pour fourgon et van, 4 ou 5, pas adapté du tout aux camping car. boîte de participation. une vraie pépite, respectons les lieux afin que tout demeure dans ce lieu authentique, comme par exemple passer le petit pont levi alors que c'est clairement interdit.

Das war ein toller Stehplatz. Das morgendliche Einfahren der Fischer samt auf Futter hoffende Robben ein schönes Erlebnis. Bezahlen per App oder in die Trust Box. So kann es gehen. Zu groß dürfen die Gefährte aber nicht sein.

pas de place pour camping car (7.50 M et -) Déçu, c'est un port avec des places voiture, tout simplement.

Lebendiger Hafen, unglaublich schön, ein perfekter Platz für die Nacht, Restaurants in der Nähe.

A great spot for overnight parking. It is a working harbour so expect the usual noise and activities. Pay £10 at the donation box or use the QR code to donate online. Public toilets available at the roadside best the Leisure Centre cast park. Three food shacks at the harbour. There are free parking areas at the Leisure Centre but still worth making a £10 donation to the Harbour Trust.

sehr nette Hafenmeisterin, die uns einen Platz etwas weiter oben gezeigt hat. tolle Aussicht auf den Hafen. leider hatte bei unserem Besuch Mitte Mai 23 an einem Montag nur der Inder geöffnet.

I stayed one night here on the 16th May. There was one other campervan. Local noise stopped after 10:45 pm. Then very quiet. Unfortunately woken by a lot of noise at 04:10am from the fishermen preparing their boats to catch the tide. I left 20 minutes later. Very pretty area. John Muir Country Park well worth a visit. The £10 for Dunbar Harbour Trust is great for Mohos. Good progressive attitude.

Wunderschöner Hafen mit netten Fischern. Man bekommt zwar das ganze Hafenleben mit (nachts Fischer, abends Dorfjugend), aber das macht die Übernachtung sehr authentisch. Nettes Dörfchen mit einigen kleinen Geschäften und Gaststätten. Super Kinderspielplatz für kleine bis große Kinder nur 8 Gehminuten (Lauderdale Park). Auch schön nicht nur für Kids die Krebs- und Hummerfänge zu sehen.

Haben hier eine ruhige Nacht verbracht. Die Fischer haben wir etwas gehört als sie den Fang der Nacht in den Hafen brachten, hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört. Tipp: Der Imbiss am Hafen. Ca. 2 Gehminuten entfernt gibt es öffentliche Toiletten, die in der Saison von 9.00-18.00 Uhr geöffnet sind. Diese liegen direkt am Parkplatz des Schwimmbades an der Hauptstraße. Eintritt ins Schwimmbad 5 Pfund.

stayed 22/02/23, stayed down the habour for ten quid in the honesty box theres a number for the habour master if any problems. bit cramped down there not a lot of room ,i imagine in peak season youd be lucky to get a space. quiet enough didnt really hear the fishermen early in the morning. dubar itself is a great place to visit i would rush back tho , but would stop here if needed.

Lovely place, but very noisy. This is a working harbour and the boats come and go with the tides, If you check the tide times and time your stay, you might not get disturbed as much. The seagulls don’t sleep here. Good spot, but not for the light sleeper.

Couple with 8m A Class stayed one night here and one night at the other site at the pool complex. Dunbar very interesting and beautiful place. well done and thank you to the local people for making this happen. Must visit the John Muir museum.

Like everyone has said, beautiful, quiet, et cetera, but would also like to add that "The Volunteer" is a stone's throw away and is a very friendly pub, and we were lucky enough to have local musicians there last night playing traditional Scottish music ... Perfect

Lovely spot in a relatively busy harbour. Quiet overnight but be aware the fishing boats head out early and then the seagulls wake up. Also lots of street lights if you’re bothered by that overnight, Loads of eating possibilities including a pizza van on the quay. £10 donation in box or qr code to scan - please donate and help keep this park up.

Super site pour passer une nuit au bord du port. Une affiche annonce que nous sommes les bienvenus. Nous avons déposer nos 10£ dans la boîte. Très calme la nuit. Le soir quelques aller et venu de véhicule. Le plus dérangeant été l’arrivé de nos collègues camping car dans la nuit ^^. Les mouettes sont très matinales.
