Grand parking face à l'entrée de la billetterie des grottes/boutique de Noël. 9-5 payer et afficher mais gratuit après. Rien ne dit que vous ne pouvez pas vous garer la nuit. Nous sommes restés sans problèmes; les coureurs impairs comme mentionné dans d'autres parkings à proximité. Les toilettes à 30 secondes à pied du parking et semblaient ouvertes toute la nuit. Le nettoyeur devient étrangement nerveux à l'idée que vous y alliez s'il est là-dedans, alors soyez prévenu. Caffe sur le parking aussi que nous essaierons probablement avant de partir! Signal 4G par opposition aux espaces dans les aires de repos.
Large car park opposite entrance to ticket office for the caves/ a Christmas shop . 9-5 pay and display but free after. Nothing says you can’t parked overnight. We stayed with no issues; the odd boy racers as mentioned in other parking areas nearby. Toilets a 30second walk from the car park and appeared to be open all night. The cleaner gets weirdly testy about you going in if he’s in there though so be warned . Caffe on the car park too which we’ll likely try before we go! 4G signal as opposed to spaces up in the lay-bys.
Großer Parkplatz gegenüber dem Eingang zur Höhlenkasse/Weihnachtsgeschäft . 9-5 bezahlen und anzeigen, aber danach kostenlos. Nichts sagt, dass Sie nicht über Nacht parken können. Wir blieben ohne Probleme; die ungeraden Jungenrennfahrer, wie in anderen Parkbereichen in der Nähe erwähnt. Toiletten 30 Sekunden zu Fuß vom Parkplatz entfernt und schienen die ganze Nacht geöffnet zu sein. Der Reiniger wird seltsam gereizt, wenn Sie reingehen, wenn er da drin ist, also seien Sie gewarnt. Caffe auf dem Parkplatz, den wir wahrscheinlich ausprobieren werden, bevor wir gehen! 4G-Signal im Gegensatz zu Leerzeichen in den Parkbuchten.

Great location for visiting Cheddar and the caves. Like others say there were boy racers blip up n down the gorge but as I was parked near the weir that drowned most of it out. Paid for a ticket for 0900-1800 then free outside those hours.
Quiet enough, we’re boy racers until about 2130 as previously mentioned. Lovely little village. Parking for all day cost £6 but they only charge from 0900 - 2100. Public toilets are a minute or 2 walk away from the location and are ok.
lovey free park up from 9pm noise coming from cars racing up and down the gorge, lovely little town, will come back again.
good morning good spot after 2am . lot of coming and going with cars and young people racer cars and bikes u and down the gorge till about 1am toilets are a few mIns walk down to from where parked not good during night
Great spot close to pubs, chippy, shops and the gorge walk. Free from 9pm to 9am. Unfortunately lots of petrol heads around, didn't feel unsafe but they were intermittently waking us up until around 2am. Thankfully we were able to get straight back to sleep but might not be ideal for everyone.
Fantastic location, parked here at 8pm and paid for the hour, free after 9pm. no other cars or vans. We weren’t bothered all night, no noise other than the water which was lovely. Couple decent pubs near by also.
Parfait pour passer la nuit et ensuite aller visiter les gorges de cheddar, très pratique de dormir ici et de faire la visite le lendemain car le parking se remplit rapidement dans la journée. Cependant les toilettes à coté des boutiques sont pas très propres et pue énormément
First it’s free overnight! There was some toilets near (sign pointing to them town side of the car park) I moved up the top or the Gorge at sunrise as felt safer away from the road. Like others mentions, the road attracts very loud racing until gone 1am. Maybe quieter at the top but can sit way away from the road here. Toilets near Tesco in town were closed so these were only ones open I found
Great to stay the night, we tucked ourselves away in the corner. Not great during the day unless you are smaller than 6m as you would have to use up two spaces.
Great place. Only 1 other van last Was quiet from about10pm with the only noise being an owl. Arrived at5pm cost £4 till 9pm then free till 9am. Only £6for 9am to 9pm so reasonable as we are going to do full cheddar day. Highly recommended
£6 to park from 9am to 9pm and free overnight. No signs to prohibit overnight parking. Some lovely walks in the area and great for climbing too. Pretty busy in the day but peaceful at night. Toilets a short walk away
Great spot. Right outside the ticket office, cafe and Jacob’s ladder. We arrived at 9pm, was plenty of space. Make sure you park around the side/back of the shops in the carpark, we nearly missed it because it was so dark! Free from 9pm-9am then it was £6 parking for 12hrs! Great spot, would 100% recommend. The carpark was full by 10/11am the following morning so don’t arrive too late!
Loverly place to stay for 1 night. And few little shops at the car park. Toilets available throughout the night. The odd boy racer. But they never bothered us, so I don’t mind them. We parked by the waterfall which was very relaxing and off from the road.
Good amount of space and able to park back from the road, toilets available and clean. Arrived 11pm ish and very little traffic or noise.
Large slightly sloping car park in gorge opposite ticket entrance. Quiet night with sounds of the waterfall. Toilets close, filthy at night due to wet muddy feet during the day, but spotless & clean in the morning. Several food places & shops. 9am to 5pm £6 (but valid to 9pm for 12 hour day) 5pm to 9pm £4 Free overnight. Use Blue Light card for huge discount on caves entry ticket.
Parked here for 1 night and all the following day to visit the caves. Free parking over night from 5pm. There were some loud cars and the waterfall is loud near by. Perfect to spend 1 night whilst in cheddar. Car park is busy in the day
Parked up here at about 6pm, parking is now paid 9am -9pm. We paid £4 at 6pm. Walked in to Cheddar for a drink in a family friendly pub (The White Hart) then back to the van for the night. Road noise minimal apart from the odd boy racer in the evening, but then a group arrived later & were coming and going until around 2am. Didn’t disturb the kids though. Paid £6 at 9am for the Sunday.
