Great stopover - quiet with lots of space !! Undisturbed. Carrefour opposite along with Calor gas and laundry. An hour from the tunnel/ ferry.

sirlambert06/08/2024Great spot for a stop over on the way to the ferry (1 hour away). Very quiet, but at 8.30am bin men woke me up by stumbling into the back of the van. unsure if on purpose. make sure you are tucked in to allow their vehicles to pass. Small supermarket nearby with washing machines outside. Would stay for one night.

We have stayed for one night and couldn’t have been more welcomed by the locals, they even offered the use of their showers. It’s a very nice place in the middle of the town with picnic benches.

Nice and easy location park in with camper. Felt safe. Carrefour right opposite and a bakery just down road. No one in carpark when we arrived at 2am however from 6am people were parking for work etc and slamming car doors etc. Before that, very peaceful and woke to birds singing also. No facilities.

Perfect spot for a quiet nights sleep, no facilities but a nice little park around the town hall building.

Noone else here in June. Fell asleep to birdsong. Flat.
