Ist ein Top Spot. Leider heute überfüllt mit Campern. Wir übernachten 200m westlich, beim Eingang eines Bike- und Wandertrails. Hier stehen wir Alleine. Das gefällt uns besser. Minimales 4G und Telefonsignal

Angenehmer Ort für Abreise/Ankunft über Dover, wir standen mit zwei weiteren Wohnmobilen dort. Straße dorthin nur einspurig, aber sehr wenig befahren in der Nacht.

Fin août, arrivée tardive vers 23h30 en descendant de l'écosse. une voiture avec tente de toit déjà sur place. le spot est super calme, la nuit comme le matin. il ne faut pas un camping car trop large, on touchait des deux cotes avec notre fourgon !

Wir sind angekommen als es schon dunkel war. Wir sind südlich über eine Single Road hier hin gefahren. Die Fläche ist recht eben und bietet Platz für mehrere Camper. Die Nacht war ruhig. Es fahren morgens nur wenige Autos vorbei.

Spot parfait (calme ++)

Flat gravel car park. As it has been mentioned, the drive there is down very narrow lanes, not suitable for large vehicles. A quiet night and a lovely morning walk in the woods.

Really quiet park up, with space to walk around. However, it’s 30 minutes of driving off road through a very narrow, bumpy road in the forest Luckily we arrived late at night, if we knew beforehand we probably wouldn’t of made the effort in our van. Lots of space to park, no bins or toilets.

We were here overnight with a Polish and French van next to us and is great for dog walks and was very peaceful. Until between 12 and 1am when a camper turned up laughing and shouting at each other. After I shouted at them to shut up, they did so. Then two more vans turned up but were respectful and quite. Looks like they all came separately from the ferry.

Parking en forêt, calme, propre, proche de Douvres donc pratique pour les européens en transit! Nous étions 2 petits vans et une voiture, puis 3 autres vans sont arrivés dans la nuit.

Endroit sympa et très calme, petite route très jolie pour y accéder (attention aux biches le soir !). Nous nous sommes garés devant un tas de bois et avons été réveillés par un camion qui venait le récupérer ! Beaucoup de place, très plat.

Nous étions 7 véhicules la nuit dernière (c'est le maximum selon moi pour ne pas être trop serrés) sur ce parking au sol stabilisé et plat, avec des bois autour (il y a eu des coupes et le secteur est un peu ravagé autour du parking). La route d'accès côté ouest est étroite et peu de Passing Places, mais circulation faible alors c'est faisable même avec un gros camping-car. Aucun bruit la nuit.

Perfect place for overnight stay. We were there with 7 m long motorhome and 3,1 m and no problem.

Ein toller Platz im Wald. Sehr ruhig. Stehen allein hier. Internet schlecht .. bloß gut hilft uns hier starlink. Diesen Platz können wir weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben hier eine sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht alleine. Die Anfahrt nach der Fähre von Dover war zwar etwas unheimlich, aber nur weil es dunkel war. Ansonsten sehr ruhig und abgelegen:)

Da wir spät mit der Fähre in England ankamen, war es eine super Gelegenheit mit nur 30 Minuten fahren hier eine ruhige Nacht zu haben. Keine Services, aber super ruhig. Danke!

Très calme, pas trop de mal à avoir internet (ça bug parfois) mais super spot avec jolies ballades

Carpark is spacious and level and quiet at night. Had a very peaceful stay overnight Reason being however is that it's quite out of the way and has nearly no phone reception. There has also been a good bit of tree felling lately so it's a bit bare for forest walks now ...

Quiet spot I was the only one here overnight. plenty of space. Have seen woodpeckers this morning

Had a very relaxing night, followed by a lovely (and muddy) walk through the forest, including a stop for chips at a quirky, cosy pub in a nearby village - The Timber Batts @ the compasses. I'd absolutely stay here again.

super quiet spot, stayed 2 nights. Doesn't seem to get too busy either

Bit of a trek down a bumpy country lane, but ample parking for multiple vehicles. Deathly quiet at night, no signal, the odd slow passing car. One van and two cars stayed over, all foreign vehicles. Would have been perfect had a Belgian couple with noisy sliding door not parked 2 inches from my van with the car park empty.

Parking isolé, à l'entrée d'un bois. Possible pour 5 camping-car. Très calme la nuit et à moins d'1h des terminaux de Douvres.

Parking facile d’accès et agréable pour passer la nuit. À l’abri des regards et de la route, nous avons bien dormis.

Très sympa, un spot nature et calme. On y a passé une super nuit.

Je hoort er ... niets! Zalig! Ideaal voor van en naar Dover te gaan. (tussen 30min. en 1u.) rijden.

Petit parking calme et tranquille au bord d'une route peu/pas fréquentée de nuit. Seuls les promeneurs arrivent au petit matin, sans vous déranger particulièrement. Réseau minimum avec Vodafone.

stayed here whilst exploring the kent coast line . great little spot, very quite at night , as previously mentioned there is no facilities, but kept very clean.. there was not phone signal at all on EE. had to go for a walk in the woods to find enough signal to message the kids

Quiet spot next to a nice forest, had a good night's sleep before heading to Dover. No facilities and no bin so please take your litter when you leave!

Ok pour un spot étape sur la route de Douvres ( avec un petit détour tout de même), route peu passante à côté mais les voitures y roulent vite ! Bonne nuit quand même. Le samedi matin, le parking était plein à 8h car c’est un parking de randonneurs !

Spot très propre et très calme en bordure de forêt. Peu de passage sur la route adjacente et nous étions le seul van pour la nuit. Bien placé pour un arrêt après le ferry Calais-Douvres. Attention la route pour y accéder est une single road avec des passing places tres boueuses en cette période de l’année. Mais le spot en vaut la peine ! Pas de signal téléphone/internet avec mobile français.

Beautiful area with lots of walks around. Be aware the walks are quite muddy at this time of year so have a towel ready for muddy dogs/boots. Nice quiet road and very peaceful night. Good for stargazing as very dark. No signal on Smarty.

Well maintained car park, surrounded by wood and plenty of walks

This is a lovely place to stay. We spent 2 nights with no problems. The ground is slightly uneven but nothing to worry about. There is walks that you can go to from here. There are no facilities, and no bins, so take your rubbish with you. The signal is abit patchy, but managed to get 2 bars of 4g.

Local dog walking car park. Nice and quiet, stayed after arriving in Dover. Had two other campers there. Dog walkers start arriving early so make sure there is space for them!

Nice quiet gravel parking in the forest. Long narrow road to get there, but was worth it for the quiet evening & morning! Unfortunately quite a lot of tissues and trash around; leave it cleaner than you found it if you can

Wunderbarer ruhiger Ort für die Nacht. Direkter Zugang zum Wald. Ich habe 4G und zwei Balken Empfang, also bestens ?

Nice little place to park overnight. No signal though which in a way was nice! Few other vans and a few dog walkers in the morning around 0700. Highly recommend!

Great secluded gravel car park, no signs or bins and on a very quiet road. plenty of space and no height restriction. Few dog walkers in the morning but all friendly, would recommend.

Lovely quiet spot. Few cars turned up during the day, locals seemed friendly. Little bit of rubbish which was a shame.

Parking au milieu de la forêt. Un peu sportif pour y arriver. Nuit calme. Proche du tunnel sous la Manche

Leider ist seit neusten ein Schild aufgestellt was das Campen und Übernachten verbietet. Ein Reisemobil hatte sich allerdings ein paar Meter weiter unter einen großen Baum in den Wald gestellt.

Sehr gut. Schotterboden, eben, nachts extrem ruhig. Spät abends kam noch einen weiterer Camper. Tagsüber kamen Menschen zum Spazieren gehen vorbei. hier hat man wirklich seine Ruhe. Der Wald ist zum Wandern gehen eher durchschnittlich.

Après 3 km sous un tunnel végétal parfois très étroit, on découvre enfin ce petit coin paisible isolé de tout. Pas de poubelle, aucune connexion mais des oiseaux et des écureuils en pagaille. Dénicher un spot pareil est une performance. Uniquement pour camionnettes ou fourgons.

Lovely quiet stop with lots of walks nearby.. Stayed over jubilee weekend and we were on our own. No phone signal at all (EE) although we did manage to catch an occasional bar on the trails. Slept well.

Lovely quiet overnight spot in the woods. Us and another van overnight, dog walkers in the morning. Felt safe - access road is mainly single with passing places - takes a while to reach so little here in the way of nuisance. No height or width restrictions at carpark entrance. No rubbish bin and the area was pristine, so great that people take their rubbish with them. Great area.
